Yesterday I decided to wash out my cargo area tray, and everything on it by leaving the rear window down in the rain.... oops!
One of my coworkers told me this when he came in at noon, after I got to work at 530am. Then 3 other coworkers chimed in and said, "yea I saw that and meant to tell you about it!"

I can't believe you took your child out to shoot such a weapon. It appears to be some sort of AR-15. Didn't you read the terror that occurred when New York New Daily Journalist recently fired a similar firearm. To quote him: "The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don't know what you're doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable."

Of course I'm being sarcastic and this "journalist" is a moron. The best thing we can do is teach our kids to respect and properly handle firearms. And have fun shooting them too.

Ya, when I heard about his commentary, I figured he was just on his girly cycle and a bit irritable that day.

Nothing Much

Installed glove box and console dividers. Added two cargo nets. Ordered ball mount and quick change balls (1 7/8" and 2"). Ordered trailer brake controller and wiring harness (plug and play). Found the shift lock cover in the glove box (was pissed it was missing).

Editing to add: The milky way is more of a hazy cloud with the adjusted naked eye. There's still a lot of air pollution in OH especially in the summer when humidity is high. However if you take your kids out, wait until after 1030 and have them look to the horizon on a SW heading from now to August and they'll be able to see it!

Went fishing with my dad. The lake required 4 low to get to it, I even got to use the diff lock a couple times (probably didn't need it though). My dad was thoroughly impressed with the 4Runner's capabilities.

At 275 miles, I had Discount Tire put these on. 265s, E rated. Paid $180 per tire, with 4th free, $102 per wheel, with 4th free, and got $60 per tire for my Duelers. Wheels are American Outlaw Ranger 8.5+ with -6 offset:

New Brakes and rotors on the wife's ride

have about 19K miles on the truck 14 Limited. New tires 2 weeks ago (Michelin Premier LTX) since the junk Bridgestones wore down to the wear bars. BTW...the LTX tires are very nice.

Decided to replace the rotors and pads today so it should be good for another 28-36 months. Wife is hard on the brakes and tires

I actually ordered the rotors and pads a few weeks ago knowing I'd be off this week. Thus...this is what I did to my 5th gen today.

EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors
EBC Extra Duty Brake Pads

Pretty cool about the pads. EBC gives you 8 disks (for each piston) to place into the piston. No grease or backing plates required. Only have about 80 miles on them. The black is nearly gone from the rotors except for the slots. Only some squeaking for the first 8-10 miles. No squeaking since.
