I got my little toolkit and removed my hood scoop insert for tomorrow; vinyl wrapping of the scoop and insert to get rid (hopefully) of the sun glare on my shinny silver metallic paint. The first mod I actually do something on the 4R... !!!

There are tons of US Forest Service roads that go either from Hyw 4 to Hwy 88 or Hwy 4 to Hwy 108, and everywhere in between. There's also Black Springs OHV with many off shoot trails.

I am up there most weekends in Dorrington.

Feel free to hit me up if you're up there. Also, in Dorrington, stop by the Lube Room for food and cold beverages. It's a great place.

Sweet, I'll keep that in mind. I think for the most part, I didn't want to venture to places solo where I can't get myself out of. =)

Not today but over the past week. Just got back from deployment and the family had quite a few surprise toys waiting for me. Didn't take me long to install them.

GOBI Ladder, RED Sliders, Rigid Dually amber fog light replacements, Rigid D2 white driving mounted behind grill, center console organizer, RAM phone mount, independent fog light mod, no DRL mod, rear bumper cup holders, 65 qt RTIC cooler for the back, and just need to build a drawer for the rear.

Changed out the upper grill and added the garnish.
Fairly simple but expensive for 2 pieces of plastic like others have mentioned but I like the look...but still $375 for the garnish is crazy!

Installed my Go Westy trailer hitch - Hi Lift Mount

Was always searching for a safe, reliable location for mounting my Hi-Lift jack. Came across a great solution from Go Westy.com whom specializes in VW Bus overlanding parts. Cool part is, that it can be removed easily if towing is needed and included a d-ring mounting point to allow my rugged ridge recovery buckle to be added on. Great product, super strong and rhino-coated to last years. I highly recommend this item if your off-roading.

Nice! I want a hi-lift jack but I don't have any steel bumpers or sliders. Are there any jack points to use on a stock body?

I have a fitting that utilizes the stock-pinch welds for jacking points and/or in a pinch I would use the Tow-Hitch receiver in the rear as another lift point. I too, plan to get steel bumpers and sliders down the road, to allow for more durable & efficient lift points.

Well, apparently there was a bit of misunderstanding on my end. The rack isn't shipping until Monday, the 18th.

So what did I do in my 4Runner or what did someone else do?

So I had some dipshit rear end me while I was stopped at a red light, dented in the lift hatch pretty good, knocked the muffler loose from the supports, pushed out the rear right 1/4 panel plastic, dented my gobi ladder, general bumper damage, etc..... he gave me an insurance card but it was his moms and didn't list him as a driver so not sure what the deal with insurance will be but I sure hope I'm not on the hook for my $1000 deductible. Anyone have any idea what the repairs might end up being for something like this, not sure if they would fix the rear hatch or just put a new one on, damage to plastic rear quarter panel should be easy to repair but those parts usually ain't cheap, plus who knows what the damage underneath might be... it is unreasonable to think this might go up to $5000??? I have ICON suspension with remote reservoir located back towards then end but I can't see any damage...anything else to be sure and make sure on the damage... didn't hit very hard, we were both stopped at a red light.... thinking I may use this as an opportunity to get a new steel bumper.... Shrockworks here I come.
