Received a set of Total Chaos lower link armor. Looks like an install Saturday for me...these link skids and the C4 Fabrication fuel tank skid plate.

nothing spectacular...i finally got off of the OEM Dunlops...nice enough as an intro tire...they got me thru the Bliz of 2016 aaiight...


but now, some nice new Cooper Adventure A/Ts...ride is a tad stiffer, but steering response is pretty awesome. Now looking for an opening in my schedule to get em dirty. Love the looks tho...they look like they belong on the truck, vs the Dunlops, which looked like rim protectors at best.


Searches tell me the Adventurer ATs are very similar to the Discoverer ATs, so they should do me well for what i will do with them. Namely light off roading, towing, snow, and daily commuting.

a quick visual...i look forward to getting some dirt on em soon. I have since read that Cooper makes 5 or 6 different iterations of their A/T3 tire. All test well so...im happy

What work are you doing in tahoe this weekend? We are heading up there today to do the Ragnar Relay Run. You are not working that are you?

My 4runner is coming with but my wife will be bringing it up after I am already up there. I will have to tough it out in a Tundra.

I will but the install may be delayed. Just ordered the RCI T-Case skids so it'll be better to do all at once while I'm under there and since I read some potential clearance issues of the t-case skid with even the stock fuel tank skids.
