have them in my front grill area as well and they are awesome.

Those lights are the VisionX Light Cannons and they're awesome. I did cut holes in the black plastic 'honeycomb' part of the grill to recess them a bit for a cleaner, almost flush install.
I fabbed up custom brackets to mount them. They are basically pedestals that sit on top of that factory aluminum tube front bumper 'thingy' that we all have behind the fascia. I drilled and tapped that aluminum tube and bolted the pedestal brackets to it. They are rock solid - no vibration or shaking even on bumpy roads.

Good luck. Coming from a full LT 2011 Tacoma I'd say put the money into a jku. If you Really want to get fancy start with the hemi swap upgrade.

I put on the Lamin-x yellow fog light films. I doubt they do anything for light quality, but i thought I'd give them a shot because they were inexpensive, and I thought I might like the way they looked. Very happy with them! Cheap, fast, easy way to stand out from the crowd a little. The films are super thick, and the color is nice and bright. Not dull at all.

Got my front windows tinted - 15% to match the rears.

Considering tinting the windshield to (85% or 50%)...thoughts?

Also received the AVS Bugflector and (1) of the (5) BFG KO2's in 275/70R17. The other (4) BFG's are due to arrive tomorrow. If the remaining tires show up, I'll be trying to shoehorn an appointment on Saturday to get the new shoes installed.

Did the Xenon Deopt 5000k HID low beams a day or two ago... combined with 9005 LED high beams from Amazon.

Just got the Diode Dynamics "tail as turn" mod installed yesterday and transformed the turn signal into an additional backup lamp... with LED's swapped into both turn/backup sockets.
What an awesome combination of upgrades to an already awesome vehicle. :rockon:

finally chopped the front bumper cover. took me way to long to do this, but only recently bought a dremel. 265+spidertrax been giving me a slight rub on 1 side with wheel cranked in reverse. used a metal cutting bit, worked pretty well. need to clean up a few danglers and smooth it out, but the lake is calling!

Got C4 fuel tank skid installed yesterday, looks good, should be plenty strong. Install was pretty straight forward, but found a interference issue with the RCI lower link skids. Not a huge issue just had to notch the fuel tank skid to fit.
So anyone running lower link skids and a C4,be prepared to do this.

Would love to see and hear about the Diode Dynamics you just installed. I just read about them and like the idea. Just want to see if the output is actually that much more.

Ha, I'm honored! I was about 2 minutes away from walking out with a SR5P myself, just couldn't quite get comfortable with the ceiling height once the sunroof comes in to play. There are times I wish I had the softex and sunroof, but I'm very happy with the Trail.

Finally got the Gobi mounting brackets for the ARB2500 awning but unfortunately my awning was delivered missing the mounting bolts and all the other stuff that is supposed to come with it. I was able to find some bolts that will work but they are not of the quality I want. They will work for now. has anyone else had this problem with missing parts from ARB or WunderCarParts? They said that they will get it taken care of but no telling how long this will take because they said that they will get ARB to ship the stuff. This could be a long wait, idk. Anyhow, really like the awning. It sure will come in handy when dirt bike riding and such.

No issues with missing parts for my 2000 but the package it was shipped in was damaged at both ends. UPS is slipping lately. Fortunately nothing was damaged. I'm using fourtreks mounts on mine. Had to adjust once on the Gobi due to slippage. Will either try and insert some rubber material inside the clamp or consider different mounts. I like the fourtreks for many mounting solutions but I'm still unsure about their longterm durability as awning mounts on the gobi.
