Couple guys from work bailed on going there with me yesterday, now I'm wishing I had just gone solo I may have run into yall. ill check out your write up.

Did I see you heading north (or I guess east technically) on I4 around 10AM? I was heading the opposite direction and noticed a black 4R with TRD skid but may have been an SR5 didn't get a good look

lastly, that female GSD you have is beautiful! had to leave my 2 shepherds back in Texas while I'm out here for work. miss them a lot more than I do the gf... hah

Got a 5th Gen this weekend.
installed Razir LED low beams and fogs.
PITA getting the passengers side lamp in. The fitment is not very good for this model.
I had to file down a bit of the heat sink fins because they were preventing the lamp from seating and twist-locking. I finally got it to twist in and I'm satisfied.

It was a fun day, I went not knowing anybody, figuring I would meet some folks and if anything I could check out the place for future adventures.

No that wasn't me on I-4, I took I-75 north at about 10:15

Originally had a Recaro for our oldest son (6yo) but had to add 2 more for my 2yo twins! Wanted to keep using Recaros because race car, but they wouldn't fit 3 across! Had to end up buying 6 of these Dionos (3 for my truck and 3 for my wife's Car) to be able to go three across forward facing. That hurt.

Not today but over the last few days. Derped the wheels, got a husky cargo mat, cargo net, 2 duel usb chargers (one for the center console for our phones and one for the back for the girls kindles) and German flag front license plate for the wife's ride. Next week I'm going to derp her roof rack. I'd post pictures but the Internet at my mom's SUCKS!!!!

I'm considering the Razir low beam install as well. How is the light quality?

I rented another one. Is it bad to rent a 4Runner when you have one at home? I'm able to choose any vehicle available on the lot and I always choose a 4Runner when one is available, even over a high end luxury SUV or sedan. I must be seriously cracked.

Got the C4 through the group buy. I also felt it's more finished and more closely resembles the stock skid in that it cups the fuel tank. The RCI appears to be open in the rear and not sure about the front. Probably not a big deal but if the stock also covers the rear, not sure why RCI didn't.

It being open in the back isn't an issue. It's closer on the Toyota because that's a piece of steel that's pressed into shape so it's easy. You're going to impact the front or bottom not the back.

Installed my RCI Skid Plate Package

On the recent group buy I purchased the engine, trans, transfer case and lower A-Arm skids. I ordered them in steel, no powdercoat. For finish prep I used de-greaser, followed by the POR-15 etch acid. Painted with POR-15 topcoat in red, applied with a small foam roller and a foam brush for the edges and hard to reach areas. I think I ended up with 3 coats on the outside and 2 on the inside. Good coverage, appearance is fine for under the truck. Install was easy, no helping hands needed. Just used a box for support during positioning. I am very pleased with the quality and product design. And based on the appearance of my stock skids, they will be put to use soon enough! :guitar2:

It's contender. Light have a good shallow throw. Of course straight on clearly LED bright. Other than the fit issue. I'm satisfied. Especially for about $110 for 4 lights.

Looks awesome! For some reason I really like skids painted red. If I ever upgrade mine, that's how I'll paint them.

Also like the look of the RCI skids -- but I'm wondering if the protruding screw heads that hold the oil access panel in place ever get damaged going over rocks? Seems like if they got badly scraped it might be difficult to get the panel off for an oil change.

Pulled it into the garage and hooked up my battery charger. It read 70% charge, which Seemed low even after the fridge sucked it down last weekend and just to and from work this week. I hadn't had it on the charger in months and definitely not since hooking up the fridge.

Neighbor told me my truck looked naked without the RTT, I agreed.

Looks great, the hooks match the center caps now. GJ...my wife has the same color 4R, I'll have to think about doing that.

The T4R came with a dog/musty/cigar smell. We had to do a serious upholstery shampoo, followed by a can scrub to get the floors and seats smelling OK. But the vent - BLECH. Smells awful. I'll run this through it (via drain), then if there sis till some odor I will do a car bomb type treatment.

Gave it a much needed wash then decided it had been to long since I got some real dirt on the tires. Dad bought 80 acres for a new hunting ranch a few weeks ago so I took the opportunity to do some exploring this afternoon.
