Took a 2 hour detour from Portland to Idaho Falls. Swapping my CBI bumper from a single swing arm to a dual swing arm.

Thanks for planting the seed of swapping my bumper for one with a swing out. Jerk. :sad:

I plastidip' the rear emblem and got my front windows tinted to match the rest of the factory tint. Next week I'll be putting on the weather tech in-channel rain guards and ordering Metal-Tech OPAR sliders.

Not too sure what you mean by that. I've had a lot of vehs with tinted windows and they never had a greenish hue to them.

The factory tint in the front windows have a greenish tint to them. This can be exacerbated with the addition of film based on the tint level and the films inherent color. Park you car with no car on the other side and roll down both passenger windows and look through both front and rear drivers side windows. Front may have green tint compared to the rear. Yours looks pretty dark and may not be that bad. Those of us in states limiting the level of the fronts will see more of a difference based on film type. It will drive those with car OCD crazy, I however don't care.

Only from the inside is it noticeable - and even then only slightly. From the outside, if the tint installer uses the correct shade and material (my installer chose a metallic film) it matches very well with no greenish hue from the outside.

Just swapped all interior lights, dome, map, courtesy, etc. with LED's. Also did the headlamps and back up lights. What a difference.

Looks like a great setup. What are the tides like there? Looks like a wide beach but I'm sure it gets filled up at a certain point in the day.

Well, I will say I wish we would have attempted this a bit earlier than we did.
As you can see from the pictures the sun was coming down on us, and we didn't want to back there too late. So after some time passed we decided to pull it out and head home.

BUT, I had that thing buried pretty good, and within 10 minutes, the craw control managed to dig out and up nearly an inch. I was somewhat impressed.
It was pretty neat to hop of the window and see the truck work its self with no driver! :naughty:

So, overall I believe in time it would have crawled out of that messy river silt on its own. I plan to go back with more daylight and possibly video the whole thing so I can post it!

BTW, the rig looks great!
