LOL- I didn't do a writeup this time. I've been working so damn much I was just happy to get a day in the garage.
It's really nothing special there- just a dual bank on-board charger. I mounted a remote plug on the rear bumper so I can plug in easy.
The charger is water/shock proof and will charge both my batteries simultaneously at 4a each and then maintain them safely. My main battery is so big the alternator never fully charges it with the fridge running all the time in the summer heat.
This is the same basic setup I've been running in my boat for years.

Nice! Ballsy too :madgrin: my biggest mounting hangup was drilling through the bumper cover. so I didn't and mounted the plug in the HVAC air intake below the windshield.
I drove my 2015 to the Kansas City airport, and then flew to Oakland, CA.
Avis gave me a rental car upgrade - to a 2016 4Runner! Then I drove it over to Lombard street and sat in idle for about 90 minutes on the crazy hills leading up to the curvy hill down.
Then across the Golden Gate to dinner in Sausalito. Tomorrow Fishermans Wharf then Mon-Fri in Yosemite. There's more 4Runners out here in San Fran than you can shake a stick at.

Look at that nice flat smooth hood! I do not like the pseudo-scoop. I am considering ordering a bare steel flat replacement. Have to see what it will cost to get it painted. I envy you that.

Camping!!!
We took our 4Runner camping for it's first time.
We only did 1 overnight because this was the first time using the RTT and we wanted full daylight for setup. It rained pretty good but no worries. Got the fire up and had an excellent dinner of salmon and veggies.
