Thought this was kinda cool, but when I was at CBI in August and we swapped my rear bumper out within 30 minutes of posting that I was upgrading, someone already had called CBI to buy my used single-swing arm.
I had no idea that the bumper would be purchased by a guy in Portland. Anyways long story short we met up and it was cool to see my original bumper on another vehicle. It's kinda weird to see it, as you form an emotional attachment via the memories associated, I banged that thing into rocks in Mojave Road, rocks in Death Valley, rocks in Moab, rocks in Ouray, basically I bashed it into things.
Dents and scratches on the underside for days.

I have too. My old car used to get them yanked so I would slice them with a razor blade so you can't peel them off in one piece. Works pretty well. I just bought this car with the 2017 already on it and never paid it any mind.
I'm glad somebody pointed it out though. Don't know how long it's been that way

Do you have any idea when they are going to start selling the double swing arm? I just checked their site and I don't see it on there.

The buyer decided to just take it as is. CBI re-greased the spindle (this was brass inserts on a steel spindle, before the switched to bearings), and did some other maintenance, but left it as is. Personally I would have wanted it to be cleaned up, some dents banged out, and re-powdercoated, but the buyer got a crazy good price on it from CBI + installation.
But yeah they didn't take off the LAWNDART, which he's gonna do but wanted to leave it on just for the photo opportunity. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!
So they have always made the double swing arm, but you have to request it. It's more complicated as far as fabrication. I would have always gone double, and knew they made a double when we saw the last season of Expedition Overland. But if you want one, just call up Nathan and request it. Mine has the double hitch as well for bike racks.
They SHOULD advertise the double, I agree about that for sure.

Crawled underneath it and sanded out several small rust spots created by banging over rocks, then hit them with a few coats of Rustoleum. Winters salty roads are coming.

oh ok, it looks cool
went to see about doing the fender liner mod (where you move it forward) - discovered my fender liner is fine, its the body panel that sits past the fender liner into the wheel well - just enough to rub.
So now it looks like I need to trim about 1/8" off a 4" long section on both sides. :wacko:
the good news is that it is on the innermost section and you would have to really look to see where this is.
The bad news is, I've only had the truck a couple of weeks. :sobbing:

Everyone loves a man with a can!
It's an AAC 762SD - 308 can, and pretty big on a 20" 5.56mm, but I no longer have a 308 and enjoy having a dedicated can for that rifle.
