I've been fairly compensated by the manufacturer for the delay, so I don't want to drag them into the mud on a public forum. pm me if you really want to know details.

? If you were fairly compensated for the delay how would you be dragging their name through the mud? If anything, you would be telling everyone that they owned up with good customer service for some mistake that may have been made. Instead you are creating some drama (shame on you
) Because I am curious which bumper you got too and would just have to wait until you updated your sig, checked your build thread, or posted "what you did today" to find out anyway

yes you will. or you could just read my signature/build thread and deduce from there. from my perspective, even if this was a great example of righting a wrong here, I wouldn't necessarily want my key demographic knowing that there was a screw up in the first place.

Got a new shirt and went out to dinner.
My preference for bright shirts fits right in with all that reflective hazard tape on the 4Runner.

Yes, it's the angle. Notice in this pic that the headlamp housing trim abruptly stops where the hoodline is increasing the gap. Had to check myself and take a pic.

I got a new Level 8 Tracker wheel delivered to my doorstep this afternoon. I had it mounted and balanced.
Now I have a spare that matches the other four wheels and tires.

Surprisingly well. It's been through snow, mud, rain, hot sun, car washes etc. Not a mark on it. I use spray-on rubber treatment after washing (any brand will work). And bonus: bugs have trouble sticking to it.

So this happened today with the help of another forum member.
Took a total of six hours with help.
Did the Toytec TRD full kit with front spacers and rear springs.

I cannot mention enough what others have mirrored. The difference is night and day. Why Toyota did not make it like this from the factiry is beyond me. The way the TRD Pro should have been setup. I akin the ride to a staged ICON setup w/ remote reservoirs.
I am getting ready to install my BFG KO2 and think that will make another difference in ride and handling as well as traction in 285/70R17.
Took a total of six hours with help.

Did you install the nipples UP? or DOWN?
I'm about to install mine and have seen them mounted both ways.

Nips up is how I did my firestones, then the lines don't flex and stress when the suspension moves up and down
