From this weekend....
Saturday, went to Hard Rock off Road Park in Ocala, FL with the Florida 4runner Group. It was Florida's version of Rausch Creek...only a lot smaller and more crowded. Got winched out for the first time after getting high centered on a mud bank (not a fan of Florida mud). The mud at this place also ends up turning into solid sedimentary rock particles as soon as it dries, not fun to get off. New skids and sliders got a workout.
Some of us got tired of the crowds half way through the day and ended up trail riding/touring Ocala National Forest. Much more my style, with exploring nature. Ended up camping next to a lake in the Forest (one of the few places left around here where you can just pull up and primitive camp wherever you want). Also got to test out my new Zika screens (made from $7 of netting and magnets from Joann Fabrics...yes I'm not afraid to go to Joann's!)
Some initial pics, more detailed stuff soon to come on the MFD/Weekend Warrior Thread.

First snow
Driving across town to post office this morning -> mixed rain/snow on the ground (4200 foot altitude) about two inches of snow in the hills all around.
I hope this is a good sign for up-coming winter.

I agree the ONF is nice in that it is the only place you can just drive next to a lake and setup a tent without having to pay or be bothered as long as the Rainbows aren't out.

Drove to Bartlett Lake in Arizona on Saturday and did some wheeling and fishing. Beautiful day in AZ and the weather is only getting better
