Fixing a fatal flaw from the factory (too much chrome!).
After pics will have to come later, when it's not so dark out. If the suspense is killing you, think black. And a little white.

Ha, no, not the brand. These were all GMC / Chevy trucks being custom fitted with packages from two companies called Regency and Tuscany. It's just comical because the whole point of "custom" is that it doesn't look like "stock". But as you can see from the pic, they are pumping out these "custom" trucks like an assembly line (there were literally over another hundred trucks there either waiting to be worked on, or in the process of being worked on).... And here in DFW, drop-bracket lifted trucks with 20s are EVERYWHERE... and so are heavily modded Jeeps. Hey, to each their own I say (it's your ride, do as you please).. but it sure does take the fun out of it IMO when you pass one that looks the same on every other corner.

I do. I had this TC setup on my FJ. Loved everything about it except that I never did get around to fixing the wheel being so offset to be able to get them covered preventing darned rain from getting all splashed up on me when running the tube doors or mud when out wheeling splattering up the sode like a set of graphics.
Seriously though the ride is totally dofferent, more spirited even without the sway bars, speed bumps are nothing, and the amount of travel you gain instills stability and confidence. I believe the profile pic I have is the first wheeling I did after installing the kit theough some whoops in Hawaii. Pic was taken by Cop with Cop 4x4, he does Jeeps but a heck of a nice guy!

Thanks, we're doing a few things that are a little untried in the 5th gen, such as Currie Anti-Rock bars in the back. It's a BIG build, and Walt/TAV LLC has 2 weeks to get it done before I fly back.
But when the builder is excited to start you know that's a good sign. The re-gear is gonna help the truck a lot.
We also assembled my spare wheel, on the Rock Monster wheel, and goddamn are those heavy but amazing.

From Green Valley Lake 2N13 runs to Faunskin at the North end of Big Bear lake. I will take that route again next week for the Socal run. Hwy 18 will be closed until Oct 21 for repaving.

Tried out white plasti-dip on the lower passenger side. Even if I could get the color to match, I don't think it would look as good as the black.
