I love my 99, first Miata I've owned, but already decided there will always be one in the garage (unless something more fun with similar economics of ownership presents itself). I track and autocross this car, so I'm planning to do some sort of forced induction in the next year...leaning supercharger, but may still go turbo if I can sort out the cooling. Also planning to go with the 949 Xida suspension before the next autocross season starts. I'll bet that MP62 was a blast.
I get my fun car, as we now have the 4R as well as my wife's Subaru Forester XT too. The XT is fun as well, but wanted a bit more room and more off-road capability. The XT with it's X-Mode (similar to ATRAC) was more capable than I'd thought, but with it's car-like underbody wasn't willing to risk any real obstacles. The STi and Miata really were too similar, so now I have two dissimilar vehicles with clear and distinct purposes for each.

CONGRATS!! You'll have WAYYYYYY more fun in your T4R.
Don't know about *way* more, but it'll definitely be fun in a very different way. Can't wait to try ice racing this behemoth this winter. I did have my butt handed to me last year in the STi by a Land Rover Disco, so maybe it'll still work out.

Lol Rowher is 10 minutes from my house we are back there on dualsports at least once a week! What day did you go? And did you guys make it to the lookout point at the top?
Sold my NA.... bought a JK.... sold the JK and bought a ND in late May of this year.
If you are like me, you need a Miata in your life.
My first car out of grad school was an NB1. I had so much fun in that thing.

Nice its fun back there its steadily gotten worse with ruts tho. That picture that's coming in from the bouquet canyon side right by the reservoir? How loose pack was the hill because last time I went up that trail about a year ago it was super loose pack that my brakes were useless had to hold 1st and engine brake down on the bike. So I've never tried it in the jeep or the 4runner.
We always follow the ridgeline starting by lake palmdale off the 14, then thru the lookout, down bouquet trail and back into green valley and all the way down to quail lake by gorman. Mostly alot of super fun technical single track.

You should check out last chance canyon and all the old mines and ghost towns, that's been my go to for wheeling lately. Little bit further out but worth the drive! Or even some of the trails on the green valley side less technical but you can drive dirt all the way down to Castaic lake and theres never anyone back there so you don't have to worry about someone blasting around a corner on a Rzr.
Where did you put the switch for Amber/Clear?
In the cabin next to the mirror adjustment knob (i moved the light dimmer switch to the bottom next to the 12V button) and split the wiring to 2 separate toggle switches. The original mic tuning switch came with a 3way button which was tacky to me. I'll take a picture and edit this post in the afternoon
Oh nice. I was looking at some lights but didn't like those toggle switches and wanted to put in a separate switch for each.

We think alike. I have a modded S2000 I use for a fun/AX/track car, and the 4Runner is for DD duty as well as off road play. Between both vehicles there really isn't anywhere I can't have fun. I also own a 2004 330i ZHP, but that's the old DD that's being put up for sale today.

Spent wayyy to much on lugnuts. Neo chrome muteki sr48's one package was delivered last night sold the extra 16 I had to a kid at work for his civic. The other pack should be here today. Sadly still cost me over $150. Liked these lugnuts had them on my g35 after the tire shop stripped my project kics r40's. So figured why not put them on the 4runner since I have the anti scratch sockets for these haha.

Checked methods sight after paying and see they added 2 new wheels to the line up the con 6 would look soooo good
Oh well glad its done with I was going between the NV's, walker evans, kmc enduro beadlocks, or a used set of robby gordon beadlocks. Figured no need to cause more upkeep by going legit beadlocks, plus I've never debeaded a tire anyways even airing down to 10psi.
So hopefully tires within the next week or 2.

you can use whatever switch you want. No switch is specific to any lighting. As long as you can feed +/- and accessory to it, youre golden. Hell - you could even tap into your factory wiring (highbeam+lightbar?!)
