Went and tested tire clearance after work lol at least that was my excuse. I've come to realize there's a big difference between a rig on 35's and 285's. My old heep wrongler would of walked right over that in 4hi even my 2wd dodge with a Detroit locker was able to get up this rock face. The 4runner I had to use 4lo with atrac to get up it and alot of hopping :suspicious:
Granted the rock face is probably 2ft high with a vertical face with a sand base but still my beater 2wd dodge got up it and still had more flex left but my bumper turns into a shovel at that point. Pretty sure the 4runner was at full flex.
Anyways zero rub out back, only rub is passenger side front fender liner/bumper but I need to move the windshield washer bottle before I can cut more. And I made it up the giant sand hill down the road surprisingly. I've never made it up it before in the jeep even struggle on my KTM. And I struggled in the 4runner lol but made it, had to use 4lo and atrac and then proceeded to scrape the entire undercarriage on the way out..... cool :clap2:

I really should of gotten a pic of the driver side of the 4runner but there were people walking around and I already felt like a giant douche for struggling to get up the rock :rockthrow:

It looks as if the car that got rear headed had an occupant that was not wearing a seatbelt.
It was a 6 car pile up, the last car (chevy Malibu) that was hit directly from the semi is the vehicle that had 2 fatalities (45 yr old man and a teenage girl)
I didn't get a good pic of the front or inside of the Malibu but the dash was almost in the front seats and all airbags were deployed in it. The driver seat was broken and laying in the back seat and the headrest was completely broke off.

Thanks and yea it really is a bad place with a lot of traffic and idiot drivers. And yes HSV drivers are the worst, and I can say that due to being military I've seen a lot of drivers...

One note, it's wise NOT to give out your callsign publically. Unless you register it to a PO Box your address and contact info is publicly listed.

Some people don't care, but I finally had mine assigned to my PO Box. I know texas and florida are similar in that license plates for vehicles aren't private knowledge, but I don't concern myself about blurring out my license plate. However ALL *HAM* callsigns are searchable on the FCC database.

So to keep on topic, I am up visiting my parents in North Central Washington and planned to try to get to the top of Tyee Lookout today but Dads Wifi is dying so of course heading to Wenatchee instead to get him a new laptop and Wifi router. But will try to come back over Swakane cyn and into the Entiat Valley and at least get my new T4r off Highway for the first time. Will get pics. (Not at Walmart, unless a new photo challenge pops up
