It's a trail edition, not premium, he swapped front bumper and hood. Don't ask me why. It used to have a roof rack so when he put it back on he ended up with silver caps.

Found a stock TEP in our garage, and used it as a good visual demonstration of bone stock suspension vs a +2 LT on 35s. Good god, what have I done...

I asked the owner, he actually removed the scoop by swapping it with a friend's SR5 hood.

I love my AT2s. I have 50k and will probably get another 20k out of them if I go that low. Will probably replace after 60k though.

It's not, it might be a dealer hodge podge like the knock off TRD Pros that were at dealers for a while. I totally don't care. I asked, I poked around inside, it's a Trail.

So maybe they just took off a lot of parts at the dealer to upsell another SR5. Again I don't care. Not my monkeys not my circus.

Nice, the skids are already coming in handy. Hopefully I'll get to test mine out before the end of the year. You'll find me more on the slopes than on the trail this time of year :becky:

Did you steal our snow? I'm holding off on getting a pass so far because the early season has been non-existant. More time to bike though!

That seems like a lot of expense to get the lesser. Would have been cheaper to get the SR5 and put on an ARB air locker if that is the look they wanted to go with.

Yesterday

Went Christmas tree hunting in Mt Hood NF with wife and dog. We learned some lessons for next year like... bring a chainsaw or sawzall, and that trees look much smaller in the forest than they do when you get it in your house. We found an 11 footer that was on a probably 70 degree slope, had to wrap my recovery strap around it and tow it up the hill with the truck. Found a couple of fun trails off of Lolo pass rd that got a bit sketchy, but unfortunately not sketchy enough to rip my bumper cover off with wife spotting, thus expediting the purchase of a rear bumper. Good times!
