What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Miss my Great Dane. Had to put her down a couple of months ago at 12 1/2 years.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've seen my girl go from jet black to grey faced and she's not even 8. Isn't 12.5 very old for a Dane?

I hope I get that many years. You should feel happy you got such a long happy life out of her!

She was the oldest I've had. It's not often they make it to that age. It was a privilege to have her for that long.

Our local rescue has two 5 month old pups I'm considering. 75 lbs. already, so they'll probably be 170-180 in a year. Girlfriend and I are in negotiations about that...

Installed the Orange Boxx PSDs (driver and passenger). Threw on the AVS bug shield thingy.

Installed grill, gobi, and borla!

Rigid grill, Sr20" light bar; Gobi rack with wind deflector and ladder; Borla exhaust system went in this weekend. Build thread update to follow after I get the lights on the Gobi, excited..

Went out to San Gabriel OHV for a little fun with the family. Ended up tearing off the front valence cover from the front bumper and demolished the skids on a big rock!! At least I know the skids do the job and protected the 4Runner. Guess it's time for some new skid plates. Any suggestions??

Managed not to swing the rear into a K-rail while missing a minivan bogged down by some smacktard who was trying to get off the exit they had already passed. Very happy I was already checking blind spot when I saw minivan slowing, and was trying to get over before we stomped on brakes.
Truck handled maneuver surprisingly well for something with that much height and weight.

Wow, some people are morons, oblivious to the danger they are posing by drastically slowing/stopping on a highway just because they missed their exit.
Just went through your thread to see if you had info about the dashcam setup, was the rear camera mounted on a stock location or was drilling necessary?

Installed DiazFab Devil Horns and then took it out for a drive.

The rear is mounted with a bolt to a stock location. They removed the plastic push retainer and used a metric bolt. I kind of just copied this guy's idea, skip to about 1:40 for the rear camera specifics.

Merry Christmas y'all! Putting that inverter to good use

Be careful with this. I did this last year, and loved it. But only until I realized that the wire going through the hatch was causing leaks when it rained or when snow was melting. Thankfully I found it before it shorted out anything, but it was letting in much more water than expected, enough that there was a puddle on my rear mat! And that's when I was parking in a garage at home. I haven't had time to play with it this year, but am thinking about a permanent power run to the roof rack via weatherproof molex connector (think headlight) through the rubber cap for the tailgate power.

Tons of options. Research RCI, Budbuilt, Shrockworks, Hefty Fab to start and then even more options will pop up. Aluminum are great if you don't "bash" skids, but it looks like the way you hit the trails you'll want steel.

I painted my fender flares, and really like how it turned out

Uh oh. I just did this yesterday also. May look to put some temporary soft foam in there where the cord goes thru hatch.

Finally got around to putting in my AOB switches. They got great, but I tapped into the green rear wiper wire to turn the switch background lights on with the headlights, aaaaaannd nothing! Ugh.
