They are actually OEM running boards...been on the fence about installing sliders for a long time, however I do see a purchase in the future in aluminum for my POU. Until then, these have served me well accessing items on the rack when loaded.

Ah, ok. From a distance they sort of looked like Slee sliders.

Which model are they? I have 2 sets of the TRED Pro ones (Kickstarter), but haven't gotten a chance to try them out yet, or rather haven't needed them yet. I'm hoping the plastic used or manufacturing technique was different

I cracked a Tred Pro. It couldn't have been lower than high 20's. I've contacted them through warranty but have yet to hear back. On their site it says the 800/1100's aren't for use in snow so that give me some hope that they will be replaced.

Moved from San Antonio to Phoenix this weekend. Excited to explore the trails in Arizona and the Southwest. Left AZ in '06 to go to school and I am bringing home my future bride (and somehow managed to fill a giant truck). Couldn't be more excited!

Got racked yesterday.

Today I got my awning mounted and tested. I have to figure out how to make the ax/shovel mount work for me. My D handle shovel isn't going to work.

Are you finding that the standard mounting hardware is enough? I have the 2000 and think I might need to throw in another mounting point.

In my driveway and the two miles I've driven since mounting it it has been fine. Mine is the 2500 and I have the Gobi brackets roughly 1 foot from each end of the rack. It seems rock solid to me. That aluminum extrusion is beastly.

It was a good day for the 4Runner, Skids from Pelfrey...17" TRD wheels with Nitto Terra Grapplers, roof rack rails and the 'OEM' 2 in 1 LED fogs were finished. Waiting on the new headlights from Kustom 54 and then I think we'll take a break and go play in the woods a bit.

Thanks. They come with a plug n play harness that includes everything already on it (15amp in line fuse, relay, and a round type switch). Setup is as easy as drilling a 3/4" hole on a blank switch cap (or anywhere you want inside the cabin) routing the wires through existing firewall cable holes and installing the ends to the battery. Has a 1 page diagram that pretty much explains it all.

Mine run slightly different as I'm running them off a separate fuse box thats part of a dual battery setup.

You should probably peen those bolts or something.

That's the Gobi Stealth, with the no-rise option. Removable crossbars and sunroof insert.

Finally installed my lift and shoes after owning for over 2 year and 50k miles.

I'm really happy with it. I've only put 50 miles on it but the new suspension feels great.

Or use the Security Bolt kit from Rigid. Expensive but easy

Made an appointment to have my MetalTech front bumper installed, along with some King coil overs. Still on the fence as to whether I should put on stronger springs too.
