Finally got to put my recovery gear to use. Sitting watching the the Giants get embarrassed by Philadelphia when I heard a loud bang. Went out to see if ice had fallen off the roof only to see two young guys walking back and forth on the street looking for something. Kid had skidded out of control on the slick, greasy snow covered street and smashed into the power pole in front of the house. He lived a couple of blocks over and was wondering if he could push it home. Front end was smashed in pretty bad.
I found a recovery point on the front, looped my gatorjaw soft shackle through it and used my ARB tree strap to tow it. Put the Tank in 4-lo with Atrac and pulled him home with ease. He wanted to give me some cash but I told him I've had plenty of peope help me so pay it forward. Poor kid only has liability and paid $2500 for the car ( a Camry no less). I have a feeling he's going to need the cash.
I left him with some advice, in the future, drive slow and brake early.

I'll post one up later this afternoon. Did it late last night.
So far I love them. I took comfort in the fact that they're designed to work flawlessly with an icon suspension although I suppose that doesn't really matter all that much if you do proper research.
Visually I love them. Beautiful wheels IMHO. I wish there would've been more pics online of the different finishes installed on 4runners but I'm very happy with the gunmetal set I chose. The other two options they offer are super sharp too. Good luck.

Not enough, but the herniated discs in my back are screaming "Too much".
Started with removing the skids and them moved on to changing the oil.
Then, since I had a CVS flinging grease, I opted to pull apart the front and swap in a new axle assembly and will get the leaking boot fixed an turned into a spare.
Well, if I was going this far, figured I might as well weld on the Total Chaos spindle gussets, too.and while waiting for welds to cool in between more welds, changed the read diff fluid.
Finished up the welds, applied paint and reassembled the front.
Still need to do the front diff and figure out how to shoe horn in the Shrockworks washer fluid reservoir into a spot it was not designed to fit.
Tacked up.

Not so far. It was 50 degrees and sunny in Columbia, MD today. Great day to install the ARB diff breather mod. Thanks to your detailed write up and pics it was easy.
