Got a new front end and installed my DOT approved D2 fogs. They kick out alot of like and have a good cut off. I will post night pictures soon. Now I want to update the headlight bulbs so they match the light on the LEDs better. [MENTION=116156]TheWraith[/MENTION]

Looks good! I'm a big fan of the Slimline's! How did you mount the license plate? I have been looking at the removable warrior set up but it looks like you avoided that altogether.

That's looks nice! I've been fighting the temptation to order one of those, with the slight twist of mounting round ARB Intensity or Lightforce lights on the top sill, instead of the built in light bar -- anybody on this board have the photoshop skills to mock up what that might look like using the above photo?

It doesn't ride as bad as I feared it would, but it was noticeably better with the RCI skid sitting in the trunk...
I know I need more weight back there, but I think I may end up with an ARB fridge before I get bumpers (most likely Shrockworks front & rear).
FWIW, I have a Gobi rack w/ladder on the way...

Sure. Here is the map I followed https://www.cartotracks.com/daniel_boone_backcountry_bywa. There was a road that a homeowner blocked off but I think I read where a court ordered him to remove the gate.

Got the front to match the rear.

Finally got the front Shrockworks bumper on to match the rear bumper. Installed with a new Warn M8000 winch, and the full engine, transmission, transfer case Shrockworks sliders. Kind of a pain in the ass to install, esp. doing it by myself (except for a bit of help from my 8 year old boy... he did better than his mom helping out.) The tolerances are just too tight on mounting the bumper and I had to bend metal just to get it to fit but man... it sure does look damn good! Also just installed a wireless transmitter for the winch too. When I drove with just the bumper on it handled pretty well, I could feel the extra weight but not much change, but once I also added the skid plates it runs... louder... not sure what the issue is, possibly not tightened down or maybe just with all of the full skids on the bottom it traps more sound and makes it louder, kind of seems to vibrate more at idle and stopped, not sure maybe the extra weight just sort of shifted things and it vibrates different, not sure will give it a test run offload tomorrow and see how things shake out. Just curious if anyone else had similar results. Also, are there any creative ways to tie in the wheel well plastic to the fender, haven't really figured out what to do there. Oh and a super big thumbs up to Joneseyyy for his thread on installing the Shrockworks front bumper, It was invaluable for me getting this done, his pictures are way better than the ones Shrockworks sent.

Install was a bit of a pain due to the lights, measured and test fit 2x.....and still drilled 2x. Need to tidy things up (lights are not connected) and get the winch abrasion strap on.

Helped my old man locate, negotiate and purchase a 2016 TEP. Got it for $37,600 in the Dallas area. Curious to know what you guys think of that price. It came with remote start, sliders, and premium mats

Those aren't actually sliders. Just a tube step/running board. Just FYI.

Nice, those lights look kick ass! Which Warn winch did you put in and did you have any issues making the winch fit?

Finally got a chance to drive what was originally intended to be my 4Runner last nite and noticed it's about to turn 50k (wifey didn't tell me anything as usual) So since she's down for the count with a bad cold, I brought it in for some servicing. LOF, rotation, tranny, transfer case and rear diff services. Brake fluid exchange and upgrade to DOT 4 and headlamp alignment.

Did the amber LED marker light mod.

It could've been done in half the time but this was my first automotive electrical project and I also took a lot of care to secure all the wiring and used flex loom for everything.
