Had the 4Runner detailed for the first time since I bought her. They even put tire shine on the bumpers and sliders ound:

Looks funny without the coat of dirt and mud that's been on it.

Too clean. It just ain't right ! lol. (Nice setup.)

Today was a good day. I got some nice shots of Megaweapon today with the MetalTech bumper, King
coil overs, springs and lift:

Wanted to get a good flex shot but this was the best I could do at the local park:

I also came within four miles of hitting the 10k mark, so I set up a service appointment. I'd like to get
a shot of the odometer at 10k but it's probably going to happen while I'm on the freeway tomorrow:

And my favorite restaurant (Chili's) gave me a free meal today because it's my birthday!

Thanks! I hate to say it but I didn't think to ask about the springs. I just told them to upgrade the springs along with the shocks.

BTW, I had this work done at The Truck Shop here in San Diego. They were recommended to me by several people on the forum, and so far I'm happy with the job they did.

I did the LED swap on the interior lights tonight. I'd seen the before and after pics, but what a difference!

Then I mounted a Hi-Lift jack on the spare tire carrier.

I have to say, this forum is a bad influence!

This 4Runner 'thing' is worse than my M.A.D. (motorcycle acquisition disease)..

Here in Oregon if I don't see boats daily I start to worry! But we don't get the nasty weather you do and have the coast (we crab so the boat heads to the bays often through the winter) so not as unique to see one, but a bass boat!? Rock on brother.:beer:

I also wish I could tow my boat with the Runner.

I finally upgraded my fog lights from H16 Halogens to H11 LEDs...

Where did you buy from and was a special adapter harness needed? Did you also upgrade the high and low beams?

I had JW speakers in my JKU and I miss all the light...

In-laws gave me a $50 Amazon Gift Card for Christmas. I used it to get these off of there... http://a.co/gZi4Aff

No adapter needed. Plug-n-Play. Biggest thing - you MUST re-aim your fog lights to not blind on-coming traffic. I lowered mine a good 15 degrees. It was easy to do with a 10mm ratchet.

I have not touched my headlights, but I may have to now. They look pathetic compared to my fog lights.

That looks like a blast out there in the snow! I need to get some new rubber with a little more grip than stock, but hopefully I can get that done and get back out to the Tillamook trails before it all melts.

Take chains as well. A few places got super slick on the way up to the top. We had a number of our trucks in ditches. On the flip side, lots of recovery opportunities. Good fun.

Not today, but the other day before the snow I took family on a short run to 68J near Gross Reservoir. Short, mild, but fun little trail that is good for 1st timers (parents).

I live right near the entrance to Coal Creek Canyon and haven't been over there yet. Is is tame enough to go solo and worthwhile just to play around?
