I did windshield replacement in November (Sacramento, CA). Argued with my insurance to get OEM for 100 dollars copay. Just few days after having the it replaced got two rocks again. I was so pissed. This time insurance refused to get me OEM, so I paid out of pocket for OEM upgrade - it was 230 dollars for OEM instead of 100 for aftermarket. Of course with wiper heater. Apparently the difference between OEM and aftermarket for 5th gen 4Runner is not that much. If I remember right Sacramento Toyota dealer quoted me 680 dollars for 4Runner OEM glass.
Having the same 100 copay for glass I had to pay total 500 dollars for 95 Tacoma OEM glass. Apparently 95 Tacoma OEM glass is few hundred dollars more than 4Runner. Go figure.

The XV3 bone stock is about 700lbs, so hauling it really doesn't hurt the overall performance.
The XV2 on the other hand...is hefty.

I received and installed a 2014 and up tail light kit on my 2013 TE. Many thanks to those who pioneered this mod re thread "2014 LED Tail Light." Install is plug and play using an adapter harness. A bought the OEM kit on eBay from Daytona Toyota for $460 shipped.

Yeah those are going to be nice...still on the fence on which vendor I will be going with. I've narrowed it down to Adventure Trailers, Turtleback, and XV.
700lbs sounds nice and hell..loaded, you're going to know it's there but your setup is more than cable to balance it out especially if you re-geared which I don't remember. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of the collaboration with XV...you must be very excited to get that thing out there

Yep. 4.88 regear so it tows great.
And I'm very stoked. We had some design input along with XOverland. Theirs was really just a bed with a tongue box and about it. It's matured a lot. Still deciding on the tent but likely a CVT.

Added a SPOD light control system. The system is completely plug and play and allows you to eliminate relays, fuses, and pulling a million wires thru the firewall. Oh and no more buying costly AOB switches to fit in the factory location.
Start to finish install time was one hour. Best purchase ever!!

I had this system in my first jeep, not the touchscreen though. Loved it. I'm definitely looking at this touchscreen system as well as the switch pro. Any reason you decided on this one?

Lol! It's a pain to take it off and get it back on but I think that might be the only thing I won't change until I really have to. It's a love hate relationship.
