Yup. I've telecommuted full-time for 9 years now and have had battery issues, especially through the winter months. That's a big part of the reason I went with the Noco onboard charger first rather than dual batteries.

I would in a heartbeat (and I already have a sweet bike, Gary Fisher dual suspension 29er)

Except for two reasons.

1. It's hot...like need a shower when you walk outside 10 months of the year, and thunderstorms regularly.

2. I have two kids under the age of 4 that I have to transport 2 miles to school across major traffic areas.

Once they are in Elementary school which is like 1/4 mile from our house and right near where I teach...bike is the plan.

If I lived in California still the bike would be the main source of transport!

Pulled up to the cabin with over 30" of fresh snow and about a four and a half foot embankment from the plow in are parking spot. Ugh, so much to shovel. Then I noticed the neighbors having their driveway plowed with a bobcat with a snow blower attachment, just one problem, the bobcat was stuck at the bottom of the driveway. So I got to perform a recovery of a bobcat and get my driveway cleared for free. Score! Now let's get to some sledding and beer!

Found out it is too cold to PlastiDip

Found out the hard way that it is a tad bit too cold to PlastiDip (~30 degrees) so I will be peeling and waiting for a warmer day to black out my emblems...

30" Rigid Radiance install

Finished up the install of the Rigid Radiance bar. Mounts supplied by Rago Fabrications. Seamless fit, the most minor cutting required of the air diverter plastic shrouds. Switches from Air On Board. I will let you all be the judge of how it looks.

Went Canyon Carving!

Skiing at SnowShoe this weekend the 2016 SR5 handled great (still all stock) I was extremely impressed how well she handled the wet curvy mountain roads. I only felt her get unsettled once and that was on a off camber turn that dropped off.
