I have 7 seats so I can fit a sub or amp like that in mine unfortunately. I want to dynamat the doors, floor, and get new speakers but Im not even sure how it'll sound with the factory head unit
I'll definitely let you and everyone know(with a small audio build) tomorrow. There were a few items I did not mention in this build that bypass the stock head unit control center.
I wanted the stock head unit for looks but there are systems/parts added in that tell it "you work on my terms/power, not yours" lol!

S.Carolina here .. in NC ALOT! .. actually in Charlotte now... I'll be in Raleigh Friday for work, any good spots to go up that way ? I normally ride in western NC where it meets GA and SC. Lots of good trails

There are no legal trails near Raleigh. The Carolina 4Runners Facebook group has some guys that have driven a trail in Cary but there are posted no trespassing signs so its an illegal trail. And there are a few illegal trails in RTP that you can find online. IMO none of these are worth a ticket, and its irresponsible use. I usually head to Pisgah or Uwharrie when I want to get offroad.
On the way to Raleigh or back you can swing through Uwharrie. The trails are closed until April but you can drive the FS roads. Also near Uwharrie is the Asheboro municipal airport which has a little aviation museum that is kind of fun to see once if you are into planes at all, I found it randomly killing time on the way to a meeting in Charlotte and thought it was worth the admission price.

Realized Trail didn't have homelink buttons. Sad.
Ordered overhead console off ebay for $40 (lucky)
Sliced and diced to build a working console from 2015 parts
Installed, programmed opener.
1st Mod done with only 22 miles on the odometer. I now have a box labeled 2016 4runner parts in my garage. So..... <sniff> damn <sob> .... happy!

Installed A119 dash cam. Hard wired it to rear view mirror for a clean look. I have not had a chance to use it yet though.

Ordered mine today. Considered the Rexing V1 but this Viofo specs look better with the A119. Ordered the hard wire kit to, going to run the cable down to the fuse box.

Nice! Have not used mine yet, but also considered the rexing, but watching car cam central on youtube swayed my decision to viofo. For the wiring, I actually used this for an easy and quick installation. Plus, I didn't want to mess with the fuse box even though I've heard its easy but this is a lot easier.

Nope, the base is just plain. We were dead set against a premium because they couldn't find one without a sunroof, and the headroom is a dealbreaker.
I have a non functional sunroof control now, but I will end up using it for something.

After spending a weekend camping in Mexico, installed a Toytec 2" lift on the TRD Pro, in order to get the rear end up off the ground a bit, and for a slight addition of weight capacity. (Thanks Greatape for the lift!)

Did you relocate your front sway bar? I would be interested on the spec results in case you decide for an alignment. As per your picture, your UCA is stock.

I checked that link. It's for micro USB but the Viofo A119 has a mini USB port. Did you get a separate adapter? Thanks for the info!
**Nevermind, I see that I can use the Viofo USB to mini USB cable on this Simple USB Automotive adapter**
