I will likely leave it as is, we pushed the sliders up pretty much as tight up as they would go so not sure there would even be room. Probably a 1/4 inch between them and the pinch welds for flex. It's only cosmetic anyway and it doesn't bother me how it sits now.

Brought the boat home from the upholstery shop. New seats look nice. Man is it a lot of work to get back into storage place by myself. Put up on dollies and slide it all the way back and right on single side that's in right side of frame. Doesn't fit straight in the single side by 13" go figure.

Fun tip, let the bulbs cool off then use tape to tape onto the bulb and give yourself a pulltab. Easy peasy. :thumb:

For anyone wondering if you can still run a light bar with the no rise GOBI stealth option (specifically a single row) here ya go.
Didn't like the gap between the fairing and the Bar (see me previous post) so I lowered the bar so it is touching the fairing. Can't go any lower. Looks 10x better,IMO.
Just did a freeway cruise up to 75mph and absolutely 0 wind noise or whistle to my surprise. Even with the sun shade open to my moonroof glass - no difference in noise at all.

Took quite a while, but finished installing my custom panel in the space under the A/C controls
Trimmed down my scanguage to sit in flush in the top of the panel, inserted the switchpros in the center, a cigarette lighter with a dual USB outlet on the opposite side, then the override switch for my front and rear cameras, and lastly a indicator light for when my secure idle system is engaged.

Woah that's really slick, everything that I've been thinking of putting in that normally useless section of the center console. What did you use to do it and is it just a cover plate or did you cut the oem pieces out then put it in?

Question, how do citations work down there? The back of mine states two options, pay $24 or fix it and have it signed off but still pay $10? I've been lucky enough have never gotten a ticket like this, but I assumed you wouldn't have to pay if you corrected the issue?

I never really liked that space to begin with and deemed it pretty useless from the beginning and started trying to figure out what i could do with it before i even bought my 4Runner.
I did some searching and saw what [MENTION=55815]Okki[/MENTION] did with his custom panel for the back of his rig using front panel express.
Anyways; download the software for Front Panel Express, bought the scanguage, swithpro etc..., measured everything and went to work figuring out the best layout for me.
Once i received the milled aluminum piece, i went in and removed the cubby thing and went to work dremeling out the excess material in the oem peice so everything would fit.
I will go into more detail and insert pictures once i can open up my own build thread.

I got popped once in a different car years ago. I recall I still had to pay, fix it, get it inspected by CHP, and get it signed off. I think you do this to avoid a higher fine next time.

Not sure what OP did, but check out Front Panel Express. I think it took 10 days from placing the order to having it at my house.

Mine went through a port in California, but I want to say it took almost a week and a half to clear port and hop a train. Close to two weeks before I got it.

I just purchased my 2010 sr5 on Saturday and have since been finding out new things about it. Purchased it from a used car lot and found that it had a dealer installed option for hands free cell phone. Sunday I was going through the glove box and found the manual for factory remote start. Next I took to my dealership I work at at put it on a lift. Looked at the front springs and noticed they were silver (assuming not factory) and that rear springs were black. Tried to research with no luck. I did find this toy tech kit that looks similar. https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyo...ec-3-lift-front-rear-coils-toyota-fj-cruiser/
