What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I'll have some accessories for sale in another post (in the appropriate section). I have winter wheel/tire combo, Canadian cargo liner for 7 seater, cargo net, weather tech floor liners for 1st and 2nd row. Honestly nothing recently, just keeping miles off the 5th gen. Been driving and messing with my other baby! Don't tell the 5th gen but I rather drive the 1st gen.

Today i solved the 'stuff flies out of my console when I step on the gas' problem with some rubberized talon grip material.

I cut both pieces from a $10 5x7 sheet of the rubber (not grit) type of talon material, from Amazon. I made a template to cut them, which is attached if anyone wants to follow suit.

Very simple and useful. Now my garage door opener stays put!!

Nice. , I put some rubber trim in there but I find it useless most of the time. I feel like it's a waste of space really.

Finally got the Nitto Trail Grappler 285 75 R17s that I had been planning on. With BMC, ARB bumper and 3.5" OME lift the tires went in with minimal trimming. Can't wait to get them out in the dirt!

What happened to the rims ?

I plasti-dipped them about a year ago, and the dirt from off-roading has embedded in the coating. The wheels themselves have some dings from rock crawling, but functional. I'm not very into wheels since they get beat up anyways.
