What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I built a pressurized shower for camping today for $30. Thanks to Pinterest for the idea. I used an empty 2-gallon garden sprayer, hose barb, kitchen sprayer hose, and a hose clamp. The hose length is over 7' long so the canister can be on the ground. Sun showers are cool but they're heavy to lift when full.

Installed some keeper rings and cam buckle tie downs to secure three 68 quart totes. They fit perfectly under the cargo cover and the straps seem to hold them in place. Not sure the last two pics are rotated. Thanks to [MENTION=133864]MudPie[/MENTION] for the assistance!

I was out at Trona Pinnacles in California. It's gorgeous and it has some light trials with nothing too crazy. It was a good time out there. You can do some primitive camping and they do have a bathroom with no running water.

About three weeks ago...

I had plenty of room to merge (about 3 car lengths behind the Nissan Altima), but the F150 was barreling towards my rear. So, I stopped merging the first time until he backed off. Then when I started to merge again, he decided he wanted to be in front of me.

You may want to mute this as I have some pretty horrible feedback in my video. I need to figure out how to mute it.

$2,500 worth of damage to the fender and bumper. I have been without her for 2 weeks driving a Jeep Cherokee rental...

Installed lift. Before and after. Bilstein all 4, front set at 0 with 884 and sway-a-way 1.5 in the rear.

I added new Xenon Depot HID Extreme and Philips 2700K fog lights to my TEP. They look great and work much better as I can now see at night.

I've been looking at dashcams...can you recommend yours? I had the same question about the drift as well...but clearly the ford driver was cutting in at the last second.

I have owned several different models they all have their pros and cons. This particular one is the TaoTronics 1080 (http://a.co/20TGrYn). It is good enough and cheap. I have 2 now. I will be installing the second one in the rear because of this collision.

Friday I picked up a set of 285/70/17 K02's from 4wheel parts. They are running a special where they pay tax, $70 instant off and a $50 mail in rebate so with install, mount and balance, the total was $1011.83. These replaced some 265/70/17 Duratracs and its a night a day difference but I do have minimal rubbing on the fender liner. The Duratracs were pretty worn out and had terrible vibration so I finally feel like I have a new 4Runner again.

Also picked up a Smittybuilt X2O winch for the new SSO bumper coming in soon.

Took my wife to the local Toyota dealer after hours to look at RAV4's that she's thinking about buying. Nothing special just window shopping. However, I looked at a TRD Pro 4Runner and one of the TForce models just to see what's up with them. Surprised that the TRD Pro had Dunlop Dueler A/T's on it and the TForce had Nitto Terra Grapplers G2's on it. I would have thought the TRD Pro would have a better set of tires on it based on the sticker price. Anyway, just something I saw while my wife looked at the colors of the RAV4's. You know it's always the color of the car that sells it.
