Just wanted to share the type of tint film that I discovered after researching many hours. Haha
3M Scotchshield Security Auto Tint 35% all around.
It's an anti-theft security film to deter thiefs.
The quality is similar to 3M Color Stable and the price is similar to 3M Crystalin.

I never thought about getting a security Tint for vehicles but 4Runner's trunk is connected to the main cabin. On my BMW, I only have 3M Color Stable and not worry of smash and grab because my stuff is in the trunk and locked. 4Runner is so open and you will lose everything if they have short time to take your stuff. This film delays their actions and maybe prevent from taking my shit.

Just wanted to share with you another option.
It's 35% visibility all around so the rear became dark. I like the medium front Tint. Thanks.

Interesting. Are 2017 Pros coming with Revo 2s now? Some other Bridgestone ATs? Was this a used Pro? Dealer specific tire choice? 2016s and prior came with Nitto TG G2s.

Put some spacers on to give a little more clearance. Tired of hitting skid plate all the time

The instructions for Truxxx system are horrible, hopefully this is the right why!!

After install I went and played around off-road,all seems well!!

I'm at a dealer, we just sold a TRD Pro (cement), I'm an avid 4runner fan. I've never heard of a TRD Pro coming with anything else other than nittos

Took my wife to the local Toyota dealer after hours to look at RAV4's that she's thinking about buying. Nothing special just window shopping. However, I looked at a TRD Pro 4Runner and one of the TForce models just to see what's up with them. Surprised that the TRD Pro had Dunlop Dueler A/T's on it and the TForce had Nitto Terra Grapplers G2's on it. I would have thought the TRD Pro would have a better set of tires on it based on the sticker price. Anyway, just something I saw while my wife looked at the colors of the RAV4's. You know it's always the color of the car that sells it.

Tomorrow is a big day! Cris and I are taking a drive out to Anza-Borrego to check out the wildflowers. Should be a good bloom this year with all the rain we've had. Anyway, I'm excited because it's the first chance I've had to hit any real trails since August, and also the first since getting the lift. On the way home we plan to stop in Julian for dinner and pie.

Even better, on Wednesday night I'm heading out there again for a solo overnight trip.

I did mine 2 years ago, it really helps with the heat load coming from the windshield and moon roof. Even in Arizona in the summer I don't need to pull the moon roof shade closed.

We moved to Oregon last year and a sunny day is rare, but it helps a few days in the summer. I also like the full UV protection it provides.

Yeah UV protection was the main consideration... having skin cancer cut off my scalp has taught me to take more precautions than normal. Heat reduction is a welcome bonus!
