This last weekend, took my son to Anza Borrego.. It was his first memorable camping trip (we took him when he was one). It was just perfect and he had a ball! I can't wait to spend more time with him exploring God's creations.

This first pic is from aprs.fi tracking my APRS coordinates to our camp site. For those that are new to HAM radio, APRS is data packet transmission through HAM frequencies.

You are correct... Lubbock was a stop-gap to get back home.... and it did suck. Someone set off the alarm on the 4Runner during the night. No one alerted us so the battery was dead in the morning. Road-side was there in 20 minutes to boost it though.

Should have went with the FX Pro wheels, save yourself some money and having to paint them. They come in black and are 17x8 rather than 17x7 and use the OEM TRD caps. Identical wheel, more color options, 1" wider

They use the flat TRD cap right? Something about that just threw me off. wasnt sure on the black either. Appears to be more gloss imo. Thanks for the info though

With the FN f(x) Pro wheels being 17x8, will BFG KO2s in stock size 265/70R17 rub? I'm trying to decide on wheels/tires, and I don't want to deal with any rubbing issues or a body mount chop.

Not a concern at all. I'm running these wheels with a KO2 285/70/17 and a 3" lift with plenty of room. I mounted my tires and wheels before the lift and they barely rubbed. Here's a picture of the 285/70/17 on the 17x8 wheel before the lift. They rubbed the front inner section of the front fender liner in reverse when turning sharp otherwise no rubbing.

Installed my Rhino Rack RLT600 track mount roof rack with Vortex crossbars. I have it set up for three Vortex crossbars, I just need to get an extra set of hardware for the third since the RTT didn't come with three sets.

For those of you running Sylvania ZXE bulbs, how are they holding up and how do you like them? I loved my Ultra bulbs but they seem to only last about a year which sucks. Hopefully you guys will give these a better review.

Installed a couple Rigid Industries Ignite LEDs for additional camp & cargo lighting. Super impressed with the output for such a small light! The cargo area is WAY brighter now and I can also rotate the light 360-degrees when the hatch is open. Also mounted one under my ARB awning for some camp lighting. I may add a few more of these eventually if I need more lighting.

My shitty flickering LEDs need to be replaced, but I could use a lot more light when getting out on the river early, or trying to find my bottle opener while out camping at night.

I pulled the spark plugs on mine... Misfire cylinder #6

We let the 2014 sit for about 5 days (took different vehicle on vacation). We got back , she started it and it had a really bad miss (75k miles?) Code came back misfire in cylinder 6. Pulled some plugs, and cylinder 6 has an ashy gray powder on it and the others looked great. Put in a new plug, and no dice. Going to swap coil packs tomorrow, and it that's a no go I will take it to the dealer. I'm having flashbacks of cylinder head gaskets from the early 2000's here. Out of warranty, and not a good feeling.
