I'm going to dip the rails. It's just a temporary fix until my Gobi Rack shows up. Still waiting for my order from the last group buy :cry2:

No, the roof is Satin Black. There isn't a need to wrap in carbon fiber up there since the Gobi rack will cover most of it. I did this mostly to protect the paint since I won't be able to clean the roof once the rack is on. (other than hose it down).
Only the Spoiler is wrapped in Carbon Fiber. Just for flare
I didn't consider the hood because I would love to get a hood swap done. No point in wrapping something I may replace anyways.

That black roof will look great! I'm taking delivery of mine in the next couple weeks and having a shop nearby wrap the front end in film, along with the mirrors and A pillars. As well as some tint to match the rear windows. I would love to do a black roof but Im not sure how it would look on a Barcelona red pro...not to mention the extra cash sure it would take.

Put my new shoes on. From it's first desert trip, it became apparent that my 4Runner "the Rhino" reallly needed better tires for off-road than the stock Dueler H/T street tires.
The impulse buying started when Discount Tire turned on their "$100-off a purchase of $450" eBay coupons, so very quickly two pairs of stock-sized K02s went on order.
But my initial plan was to keep the stock wheels and tires for street and highway road trip use (we track rats swap wheels and tires all the time), so it snowballed into also getting a new set of wheels. As it's a lot harder to increase the power and fuel efficiency in a smog-legal car I wanted to keep the rolling weight down, so I ordered the lighter load range C tires and went looking for the lightest wheels that would do the job but not break the bank.
Then I discovered that Discount Tire Direct had one set of Method Roost 17x8.5 et0 wheels, at 25 lbs per wheel. A couple of frantic phone calls tied the whole order together, including mounting, balancing, and extended lug nuts. I do have to say that DTD bends over backward to get you what you need/want. All mounted up and delivered to my front door (all 280 pounds of it).

Antman is amazing. I actually did this on my 1995 Nissan 240sx. I bought some JDM mirrors with the JDM switch and wired it up. I was wondering for a while if this can be done to our 4runners. I guess the answer is yes! Cant wait for Antman's write up.

It is NOT plug and play! You need a combination of JDM and ADM mirrors- it was a little challenging to figure it out.
Shocker is- NOTHING IS HACKED, lol
