No, it mounts to the spare tire carrier on the swing-out of my rear bumper. Previously i had my license plate mounted there. So i made an adapter and welded the license plate to the outside of the baskets. i made the last piece today then i need to weld it tomorrow then off the sand blast & powder coat.
i should have it finished and mounted to my T4R by Wednesday depending on how busy the paint shop is and when they can squeeze me in.

Monday night I went back out to the desert for another overnight trip. This time there were a LOT more flowers.
Various small wildflowers, plus blooming brittlebushes, indigo bush, and other shrubs, and many cactus flowers.
I also found a horned lizard (aka "horny toad"). Here a few sample photos. You can see more in my "Adventures of Megaweapon" thread:

So I got my new TPMS initialized/programed by the local Toyota dealer since the tire shop did not have the ability to do so. Picked up the wheels with tires and TPMS already mounted from the Tire Rack distribution center in Delaware so saved a lot on shipping and sales tax.
Way overpriced to plug in 4 serialized codes and reset the computer, IMHO.

Today I gave Megaweapon a dashcam:
The brand is Old Shark, which I've never heard of before, and it has 1080p full HD. No GPS. It was pretty inexpensive
yet highly rated. Oh, and obviously I still haven't gotten around to setting the correct date and time.
