Punched holes in both rear tires. The cheapness in me was really hoping the stock tires would last longer. 6 mo/6k miles is a lot less than I wanted.

It was a pretty drive though.

Finished the drawer system today, only thing left is to finish it. Probably won't happen until the middle of May or so. Next step is to get a ARB 50qt and get the fridge drop slide installed as I sold my Smitty ARTEC fridge. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Did all this yesterday but wasn't near a computer. Installed my C4Fabrication group by sliders. Took about an hour with a buddy of mine and two people watching. Most was talking shop over a beer. Was stupid easy to do and then hit my first trail in my 4R. Was a blast and was even saved by the sliders at one point.

Tried to wrap my rails. F'd it up really bad by basically not doing enough research and hurrying. Ended up prepping, primer, and painting Satin. Turned out pretty good but am gonna have them powder coated I think sooner or later.

I need to do this to mine. Everything is blacked out on my Runner but the rack rails. Looks good.

Nice!. How do you plan on mounting the fridge?

I'll be using an easy slide fridge drop slide for the ARB. Ignore the casing, I through that together to test the height. I haven't decide on which side to mount yet, there are pros and cons to both.

Mounted Diamond K400S UHF antenna mount and ran RG316 through headliner, down B Pillar, and under front driver seat.

This kit included 13.5' of RG316 coax with a PL259 adapter.

Mounted to driver side hatch above rear lights.

Located a route to the headliner to prevent pinching in the hatch.

Made a slit to pass cable.

Unclipped and pealed backed flexible rubber wire loom to run wire into headline.

Let the fishing begin! (Down the drivers side, as close to the door jam without getting snagged...to badly)

Loosened divers side B Pillar trim...though I would need to remove the seatbelt bolt, but it wasn't necessary.

Removed scuff plate to loosen lower B Pillar and ran the cable under the driver seat rail.

A little cable management and buttoned it all up.

The 13.5' of cable gets to center under the drivers seat. Not sure if I will relocate the Cobra 75 under the seat or extend the cable yet.

These look cool. But I am trying to think of reasoning of having the larger platform at the rear extending out a couple of inches? Looks like they would have done this as a step for the front as well if they were doing it for the back. Or am I missing something. I am trying to decide which to get and I want them to double as a good step. But will almost never be using the rear seats to step into.

I purchased them solely for the protection. They are designed and very well built. I will feel very confident in using them as jacking point and for sliding/teetering once I weld them to the frame. The M8 bolts make me a lil nervous.
I'm 6'3" so I don't really use them as a step but my wife sure appreciates them! The front has plenty of room to step on if used. The rear bump will help push the vehicle away from the rear tire/quarter in certain situations.
That rear bump is a great step to get upto my roof basket too. Good luck on your search!

Impressed T4R owner here! Went out to Bee Canyon Trail in Southern California to get some shooting in. After shooting, decided to go venture out on some the trails. Ended up of a really sketchy trail. The trails were really rutted out due to the rains we've had here. Needless to say, the TE performed phenomenally and has so much more capability (even in stock form, less tires) than I have nerves. Picking the right lines, 4Low, locked it up, and it conquered everything the trail threw its way. Wish we had taken photos, but we were more concerned about getting out without significant damage. Looks like an RCI skid plate (The TE skid plate bent nicely due to a rock), mild lift, and sliders are in our future. Oh, and we earned our first pin stripes.

I hard wired my new ARB Frig to the battery and then ran a second 8G run back to a three bay charging unit with volt meter/USB and 12v Cigarette ports.

Toyota door edge guards (PT396-35170-01) bit disappointed because I didn't realize they were metal, and because I didn't realize they only do the two front doors. Wish I could find the kind that you just un-roll and cut to fit in Cement.
