Wifey and I spent Easter Sunday in the Cleveland National Forest.

It was a really nice day out there, we did Holy Jim Falls with the kids. Been interested to check out the trails out there but not sure what's legal to do so. Where did you guys enter from?

We entered at the Maple Springs gate at the end of Silverado Canyon Road. Its open up to Santiago Peak and Main Divide Road is open from Ortega Hwy all the way to Beeks Place at Black Star Canyon Road. Bedford is open and so is Indian Truck Trail. As long as you stay on these roads, you are good. Everything else is only open to hikers and mountain bikers. Let me know when you go, I will join you.

Mine were a bear to get on.

I didn't really run into any issues, but I used a transmission jack to align everything up and I think that really helped. If I was just using a standard jack and jack stand i could see where it would have been a little more involved. With the trans jack you can tilt the top plate in multiple directions via adjustment knobs. This make it real easy to adjust the pitch and angles as you line it up.

Installed cornfed leveling kit and HWMS (hidden winch mount system), no winch yet but wanted to get recovery points in place for summer shinanigans.

Today I joined the 5th Gen Family! Just purchased a 2017 TRD Off Road Premium without KDSS. I bought it from a dealership in CO so I am having it shipped out which will take a week or two to get here.
