Raced the Epic Rides Whiskey off road mountain bike race for my 3rd year in a row & then Wheeled from Prescott to Crown King to Bumblebee

Foam bath @ home after about 50 miles of dirt trails.

Finally got my first 4Runner! Absolutely in love with it. 2015 SR5 with 4x4. Its quite the upgrade from my 12 year old car that had no A/c heater, leaking sunroof along with a laundry list of other problems. Still bone stock since I just bought but looking forward to changing some things and taking some trips in it.

What are you all doing about the absolutely useless stock reverse lights? Can't even tell when they're on which makes backing up at night kinda difficult. Yes the back up cam helps of course but i'd still like to have function reverse lights!

My reverse lights work fine and with the backup camera I can see everything behind me great in pitch dark. Sounds like something is wrong with your truck.

Your windows tinted? Fronts or extra coats over the rears factory privacy coating?

I swapped out to some Phillips LEDs in 6000k, they are a little brighter, but still to f'n blue.

Hey man! I loved your post! It took me home… I was raised in Prescott and lived there for approximately 16 years and my family still lives there also. I'm down in the big hot valley now.

Though I have not done the route through Crown King yet I recognized a number of your photos. I love that area up around Walker and I see you went to the store/restaurant at Lynx Lake. My dad who was (prior to his recent passing away A painting contractor had years ago worked on that facility at Lynx Lake. I was helping him out at the time as a teenager and he would drop me off at the lake store and I would work on it for the majority of the day. Those were good times.

I'm looking forward to hitting that route through Crown King one of these days when I head up there to visit my mom. Thanks for that post!

Picked up my new Falkens yesterday late afternoon so had to wake up early today to get to the garage to have them mounted. Drove home, had a quick snack, grabbed the son and the dog and headed up north...

Found trails!

Proper trails, finally. I've had the truck for 6 months and today was the first day I really got to test it (and myself) out. Gravel, rocks of all sizes - from softballs to footballs to compact cars - loads of mud (spring run off was making a glorious mess) and even a few sections of trail still covered in relatively deep snow.

Would have been great of not for the side branch we decided to try that got really narrow, really fast. Trail rash tells a story, right?

Still good fun though.. couldn't expect the truck to look pristine forever.

P.S. That Superfly needs some 1x12 action

1up only has 1 model of bike rack I believe. It's just the 1up standard model & I have an extra tray that bolts onto it so I can also hold 2 bikes whenever I want!

And, yeah my Superfly drivetrain is pretty outdated. 1x with only a 10spd 11-36 rear cassette but it gets me everywhere I need to go. Also I have custom wheels built with that hub so I couldn't run a 12 speed without a major overhaul. Lol

Finally added carpet to my drawers, they are nothing fancy but it was cheap and functional for a 1st pass.

Finally got some decent weather to install Magnum Steps and finished my storage box. My thanks to Matt for his ideas and Antman for his as well.

Earlier work included a Gibson Exhaust, XenonDepot interior and backup LEDs, Smitty Built D Rings and Rear Step.

Awesome storage box! I like the fact it doesn't take up a lot of space.

You're doing a great job making it look good! I have been on the fence between 265 vs 275 until I saw the pics of your truck. It looks perfect and I'm sold on the 265s.

Right on. Any issues with it? I have a Kuat NV 2.0 and love it but can't do any kind of offroading without bottoming it out. I've also heard nothing but good things about 1up.

And some i9 hubs to Bontrager Line XXX hoops would look so good on that bike! Plus you might could get below that 20 mark.
