Sorry for posting this in here maybe a Mod can adjust his to a new thread ... I have a 2011 4 runner limited that was involved in an accident and the entire front end is being replaced ... how plug and play is it to place a newer front end on the truck (is there any custom fabrication required for fit?? I was hoping to get the newer head lights bumper cover etc. the trd pro look). Thanks!

[MENTION=107460]Magnetic4R[/MENTION] took a '14 Limited and converted the front end to the SR5/Trail/TRD version. I'm honestly not sure how different converting a '11 Limited to a '14+ SR5/Trail/TRD style front end is... I imagine it's mostly the same process + switch headlights and some extra panels to the newer style, which may not be a big deal yours need to be replaced after the accident

Sunday pup turned 16 weeks and got his last set of shots so I cruised down and hiked Switzer falls/bear canyon with the pup and girlfriend. Hike was close to 7 mile round trip and the pup handled it fine we even went for a jog around the block later that night.
And I now have a reason to buy canvasback's dumbass decided he was bored on the way up and chewed the edging up on my cargo liner. Last time he cost me $400 and a entire day in the only vets office open on Sunday to get the fox tail out of his eye, now a cargo liner :ybrick:

Had the day off yesterday wanted to work on my 51 but ended up spending a good part of the day yanking stumps out of the yard like a hillbilly with the 4runner and relining and puppy proofing our swamp cooler water line

I'm swapping out my 2014 Limited front bumper to the TRD PRO. The general design/shell of the 2011-13 Limited front bumper are similar to the 2014 Limited so i would think the following major parts I've ordered to do the swap to the TRD PRO front bumper is what you'll also need.

Was able to get out on some trails, do some over landing, and get in a few nights of glamping (glamorous camping). At least that's what I consider camping from your vehicle.
It was all at a class put on by Fieldcraft Survival. I highly recommend checking out their Off the Beaten Path class and others that they conduct. Was a fun weekend/environment with a lot of good people. Will definitely be attending the next one that's supposed to be in Colorado this summer.
I also realized I don't have as much clearance as I thought I did, put a solid dent in my oil pan skid plate. It did its job well, but I think I see RCI skids in my future. Good thing they're close by [emoji1303]
I was interested in that, but don't know what they would be able to teach me from what I saw them doing.
I'm a huge fan of his though, and what he does for the veteran community.
I follow him on social media and it seemed like he was more interested in his lady friend he took than teaching the course
The teaching was really good and he went over a bunch of different/applicable things: driving in general, how to prevent a roll over, survival stuff, shooting from your vehicle, etc.
The schedule for the class wasn't set in stone, so I really liked that. It allowed for teaching points along the way, so the instructors took opportunities they saw and went with it. I didn't see the pictures he posted yet, but I can assure you he wasn't MIA during the course at all with his lady friend.
I'd recommend looking into it. Some of the stuff was a refresher for me, but I still learned things over the course of the weekend. I've got zero complaints about the class in general and the instructors.

Yeah, pretty good I'd say. I did aim the lights down slightly.
Not bad at all. That's with stock projectors? Makes me reconsider doing a retrofit.
Lift installed. Netted 2” front & rear which is about what I was after.
Front: Stock springs, Bilstein 5100s set to 1.75”, plus 1/4" poly top plate spacers from Wheeler’s.
Rear: Stock springs & shocks (for now…), Daystar 1.5” spacers, plus Firestone air bags.

Kissed a tree
Still discovering my new 4runner's limits. Mirror was tucked in, but there was enough contact with the tree to rub the mud off it (but no damage!).
And after wallowing around and getting nowhere doing it myself, I used the N00B button and the thing drove itself out!
