My truck got hit pretty hard in a recent hailstorm. I stopped by the shop today to check out how it was coming along.

They still need to do the roof and rear hatch but, they said it was almost ready for paint.

You must have got it to the shop quick. I was at Abbra (not recommended) the other day for a company vehicle. They said they're booked through March 2018 for hail damage repair!

The speakers are $79 on Amazon the one with a bass blocker (use it) my buddy an I did the install so that was free. There are a couple of ways to install them I used the one keeping the stock connector and the speaker bracket, you just have to flex the bracket a little on drivers side. I think we cut it in half on the pass side. The tube piece on the drive side need a lot of material removed on the speaker and some on the grill, the passenger side not as much took about an 1-1.5 hrs

Slowly peeling off the black tape that the previous owner put on the roof rack and rocker chrome. (If there's an easy way to get this off, please let me know.)

Tape + UV light = PITA to remove

Likely vinyl. Heat it up, come off much easier that way.

Thanks to [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] and the brute force storage mod, i now have a grocery bag storage spot. If you live in Austin TX and in Travis county you know all about the bag ban. I can never remember to bring bags with me, so now i have a place to store the "hey dumb ass you forgot the bags" bags.
