I'm excited that my Southern Style Offroad rock sliders arrived from Baton Rouge, LA to suburban Philadelphia only 2.5 weeks after they were ordered.

Pros:

• Excellent customer service before and during the sale
• Fast production
• Delivered before they were promised

Cons:

If you are on pavement, you should avoid making sharp turns in 4wd. While in 4WD the transfer case is locked. When you turn, the front and rear tires move at different speeds. Since the tcase is locked, something has to slip (usually the tires), but if the tires grip too hard it could shear the gears in the tcase. Granted this is highly unlikely to happen unless you were on VERY sticky pavement with VERY sticky tires...but the point stands that it induces unnecessary stress on the tcase gears.

This isn't a problem offroad since the dirt/mud/sand is quite slick by comparison to the pavement and your tires slide easily while turning.

I called Steve and he recommended switching polarity. I did, no avail.
Reversed it and checked where it connects to factory wiring, reseated the connection...boom got it. Think a spade may not of aligned right.

Darn. I need to post my stock roof racks here for sale. They are WAY too low, you'll never get a roof top box on there. They will work with bike racks and the like though. I used the Thule cross bars that are the lower profile and they are miles better than the Toyota bars.

I had the same issue... the connector just past the ballast has to be secured horizontally or it doesn't light.

I had the same issue with the [MENTION=12905]XenonDepot[/MENTION] 4300k phillips kit. had to ziptie the connection (bulbs/ballast) tighter for it to work. so far so good

Installed my Yakima Showcase 15 cargo box today. It fits on stock cross bar with plenty of rear hatch space.

And...they're mounted. Everything lined up. Fit looks good. Solo effort. Took about 90 minutes and a couple of jack stands to hold up the iron while bolting.

Now to find some blue level trails. [emoji482]

'16 TEP with 5100s all the way around with T1 front and T13 rear along with 285 KO2s on powder coated stock wheels. Much better look and ride.
