What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Darn. I need to post my stock roof racks here for sale. They are WAY too low, you'll never get a roof top box on there. They will work with bike racks and the like though. I used the Thule cross bars that are the lower profile and they are miles better than the Toyota bars.

Which Thule bars did you use? I've got a Skybox 16 I've had for a long time and OEM crossbars still in the box. Going to do Thule bars instead.

Installed my Yakima Showcase 15 cargo box today. It fits on stock cross bar with plenty of rear hatch space.

If you don't mind me asking where did you pick up the showcase from and how much did you pay?

Spent all morning and into the afternoon doing this. I do this only once a year to get rid of the trail pinstripes. Now it's too shiny and pretty to get it all scratched up again.

That correlates pretty well with another dyno plot I saw for this engine. Amazing how much torque these things have low down. Certainly makes driving in 2WD in the snow...fun. :lol:
