Thank you, the black cases are actually Plano 1919 sportsman cases. They are great for the price. I do have some Pelican and Alu boxes as well

Hybrid Bumper and Winch!

After about 7 month with the bumper and winch sitting in the garage, it went from this to this to this. The front feels much firmer with the extra weight!

Yah, not a fan of Photobucket's new policy of only supporting 3rd party image hosting on its $400/yr plan and turning it off for everybody else. It hosed up a lot of my posts, and I'm sure I will be fixing them for a good long while.

I did my part to promote the Plastidip line of paints...I had to break up the All-White face of my 2014

It's not perfect, but i do like the outcome. I'll drive it around, and if i end up loving it, I can see myself peeling off the 'dip' and replacing it with plain ole paint to make it a permanent tatt.

I call it 'TRD-Pro-Lite'

Picked up 20 ft of 2x4 .188 wall, some .188" plate, and a couple more flap wheels after work, then started fitting the main rail. Notched the ends to suck these up as high as I can the front needs a little more trimming still.

And I think for now I'm not going to run a rub rail I can always add that later after I destroy a quarter panel lol. But main thing I'm after is protecting my doors from idiots in parking lots and to protect my rockers if I slip off a rock. So these should do the job. In hindsight I went overkill on material thickness 5/16 cold roll frame flange each flange has a minimum of 4x m8x1.25 10.9 bolts attaching it, main rail .188 2x4, stringers will be .188 wall 1.75" dom.

Hoping to have these done by next week since I have a 4 day weekend. Need to finish trimming everything, cap and box the notches I made, then I'm ready to start tacking everything. And we have to install a new transfer case in my buddies heep and fab a rear bumper for that too.

After the clearance cuts, front still needs about a 1/2" out and trim the front plastic fender cap some to get it even. Trying to keep roughly 1/4" clearance on everything to account for some deflection, should have none once its gusseted tho. Photo makes it look really off.

Finished installing my ARB compressor and took her out for our first trip. Went to the Sequoias for the first time. Did way more off roading then anticipated which was great. And I got the chuck box finished in time for the trip!
