Going out tomorrow for an easy trail ride tomorrow so I got the chainsaw, tools, recovery gear, etc all ready.

Also installed the pet barrier to give it a try with 2 dogs in the rear. We will see how it turns out

And yes, washed it before getting it dirty (a must)

Hi All,

I drove mine home from the dealer. Glad to have finally bought one!

Took her out one more time in stock form (+spacer lift) before I go crazy on mods in a few days. Handled Heart Attack Hill like a champ, quite impressed with the capabilities off the lot; even with the crap tires.

Drove from San Francisco to Portland on 101 with a big stretch being along the coast. Spectacular views for most of the drive.

Spent yesterday out on the trails. Today I spend the time removing the pinstripes.

Drove out to a shop thats supposed to be opened Sundays, to find that they are closed.

Car loaded up with my 5x ST MAXX Skinnies, JBA UCA, and Cornfed spacers.

Epic fail!

With the components listed, I doubt any shop would have time for a walk in either way. Any shop slow enough to take that on a walk in should be avoided. Kinda like a restaurant with no wait on a Friday night. Find a good shop and make an appointment.

3 hours is to long of a wait? I don't move with any quickness on a Sunday, do you? I bet he would get far better results and reliability at a quick lube joint! Good things come to those who wait.
OP hopefully they took their time and did things right!

Edit: I waited 2 hours for tires at discount yesterday..... Couldn't have been happier

He was referring to the shop being slow = no business = might want to avoid.

Exactly. Bring your truck to my shop and we're currently backed up 3-5 days. Also did $416,000 in business last month. It's a truck / crane shop, not automotive but you get the point. Either way, you'd likely already know if they did a poor job.
