Traded my 4Runner in for a Jeep today...NOT. Not today but this was a few weeks ago while on vacation in Hawaii. Decided that it would be cool to rent a Jeep for Hawaii and cruise around. All I can say is that I am glad I have a 4Runner. I think by the end of the week the novelty of driving a Jeep ran out. It's loud, the soft paneling makes a lot of noise and flaps all over the place, the V6 feels underpowered for such a light car (felt like I was in a 4 cyl), and as much as the weather changes in Hawaii where it's sunny one moment and rainy the next remembering whether or not you have the top or sides down is not fun. The ride is pretty rough as well and any time you got over a pot hole it feels pretty squirrely getting bounced around. Didn't get a chance to take it off-road though. I think a Jeep is fun to rent for a bit but so happy a 4Runner is what I drive.

Went to a Rock Crawl event today, besides my T4, one of these may be a Toyota. Kept my T4 safe on a nearby trail and walked down to the area.

I have rented them too in places like Hawaii and Death Valley. At first they are fun to drive, but they handle like a "Jeep." After about 40 miles driving one of those things I am DONE. Bouncy as hell and you are almost always moving the steering wheel during highway driving. Great off road vehicle and cool as hell but in the end its a JEEP.

Had an unwanted guest try to setup shop under my hood ..........damn it. Fortunately no other damage occurred, so I got lucky!

Picked up a 2017 TRD OR earlier this week and took it off road today for a little fun. Lift and tires next weekend. Really enjoying this T4R.

Finally got around to installing nfabs and rain guards. I also received my 2" toytec lift along with the oem plus system. now I just need to make a decision on 285/70/17 ridge grapplers or ko2s
