I'm finding that the sound quality from the Entune Pandora app isn't as good as running the phone plugged in off the Pandora phone app. I'll have to do some investigating.

Too bad you have to log into Entune every time you start the car. I suppose typing your email/pass isn't that big of an inconvenience, but I just use the Bluetooth and my phone app.

I don't have to do it every time but when I do it is disappointing.

It's intermittent. For awhile several months ago it was every time. It only started doing it again this week

Mine started without having to log on but the sound was so horrible I ditched it and either use a USB drive or direct bluetooth. Entune does something funky with the sound and not good funky

It's not supposed to do that.

I would suggest a call to your dealers service department, they might be able to do a reflash/reboot if it needs it.

Once you sign up that is supposed to be it.

I'll do some snooping and see if anyone here has heard of anything like that.

 

[2016 4Runner SR5]

Yesterday I finally got around to trimming a couple inches or so off the rear mud flaps:

Stock, they tend to get pushed against the tires when backing up in brushy areas, then when you pull forward the whole thing gets yanked off. Had this happen to me on my Nevada trip last year, and wanted to get them trimmed before this year's trip, which I'll be taking in about a week. Anyway, I just used a DeWalt multi-saw with a 7tpi blade. Made quick work of it, though the edge is a bit rough.

I'm still debating whether or not to trim the front flaps too.

Also, I've had several people come up and compliment my 4Runner in the past few days, which has been very gratifying.

Tin snips would of left a cleaner cut. Also laying out masking tape and drawing a line helps get a visual and also a guide to follow with the snips.

Thanks, I'll give that a try... definitely would prefer a cleaner, neater cut.
