What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I pulled my stock wheels and tires off at 325 miles, I liked the wheels but hated the tires. Got $600 for the package without the TPMS sensors since they were moved to my new wheels. Stock wheels and tires do sell, it didn't take me long to sell them. Tires alone should bring you $300 or so.

I would like to change the wheels too but at this point even spending on tires is something I am ready to spend the money little lone wheels and tires but who knows maybe the next blow will convince me lol

Think of it this way. How much are you spending to patch tires which are less and less safe each time? How much aggravation are you dealing with on the trails? How much wear are you putting on your lug studs and wheels every time they're taken off? Yeah I know this is all piddley other than the safety aspect but still. A better built, better performing tire is priceless.

Part of me wants to but other part of me is trying to hold out till I get some wear at least on the stock tires. Feels like if I don't I would be just throwing the stock ones away which is probably what I should do lol. Only have about 5k on them.

I sold mine, in SLC , for 400$ on KSL within a week. Some lady from Heber put em on her truck.

Was painless considering how new they were outside of dealing with a few weird offers.

I was in the same boat as you over dumping em, but I got half the cost of my KO2s out of em, so it wasn't too hard to justify for the peace of mind off road.

Pelfreybilt Hidden Winch Mount

Finished the install of the WARN ZEON 10-S Platinum Winch with the Peflreybilt Hidden Winch Mount (HWM).

As you can see, for the early 5th GEN 4runner, there are significant body chops that need to be done. I'm working with a 2012 SR5 and the front bumper is slightly different when compared to the TE. Overall I'm impressed with the construction of the Pelfreybilt HWM. Solid steel construction, beefy and mounts easily to the factory points and comes complete with a plate to support divorced solenoids. the WARN ZEON 10-S does not require a relocation kit with this model HWM or 4runner. I merely had to bend brackets securing a radiator hose in order for it to fit properly.

Would be interested to hear what you all think.

Well from what I've heard on youtube videos, it's the only exhaust that seems to sound good IMO. My question is, is it worth $550? I feel I could simply buy the Borla muffler and keep the stock tail pipe in place. Since you have it, is there any advantage to the whole kit over just replacing the muffler?

the entire kit being stainless steel, yeah it's worth it. It's dry as a popcorn fart and doesn't snow here so rust isn't a huge deal, but I plan on keepin her for a while. Do you plan on a side turn or a axel chop of the exhaust? That might change which route you go- full kit vs just a muffler

I don't know if they changed material in later years but I know my bolts and flanges had rust on them, and I'd bet a tbone a magnet would stick(yes I know 430 ss still has some iron in it) mainly just a lil more noise, I've had borla on a 300 I-6 ford that sounded pretty pretty pretty cool. My cousin also had a Tahoe with headers and borla on it and it sounds great aswell
