What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Unfortunately, I traded in my 2011 Trail w/KDSS today to Cabe Toyota in Long Beach.
Just giving a heads up to anyone who may be looking for this configuration. It has 69,500 miles, TRD Pro Matte Black rims and newish AT tires.
It's not going to be listed for a few weeks as it's getting cleaned up, but if you're interested, call the dealership and ask to speak with John Bambauer or PM me to and I'll help as much as I can to get you in touch with them.
I was the 2nd owner and purchased from Cabe Toyota, with 22k miles back in 2013.

Wish I joined sooner so I could have shared some of my snowboard adventures with it!

In the last two weeks I've had the 4runner, I've driven ~1,100 miles for work and it will only get worse. It was a tough decision, but definitely the right one. This has been my favorite vehicle, by far.

Have definitely enjoyed the information shared on this site! Has been invaluable to me over the years!!

Took the new-to-me 2013 Trail down to a secluded swimming hole with the wife and kids.

This was the first time I'd had the 4Runner in some serious off-road conditions, and I was more than pleased. I'd be up and down the same path in my previous vehicle, and the 4Runner handled the terrain much better.

Completely stock aside from some decent ATs from Nitto.

Finished the install of the WARN ZEON 10-S Platinum Winch with the Peflreybilt Hidden Winch Mount (HWM).

As you can see, for the early 5th GEN 4runner, there are significant body chops that need to be done. I'm working with a 2012 SR5 and the front bumper is slightly different when compared to the TE. Overall I'm impressed with the construction of the Pelfreybilt HWM. Solid steel construction, beefy and mounts easily to the factory points and comes complete with a plate to support divorced solenoids. the WARN ZEON 10-S does not require a relocation kit with this model HWM or 4runner. I merely had to bend brackets securing a radiator hose in order for it to fit properly.

Would be interested to hear what you all think.

Yeah, if i had to go thru it again I think i would've gone with the budbilt one.. the pelfreybilt is better off on the 2014 fronts... I swapped to a base model front instead of cutting out the limited front... I'm probably going to go with a entire front end now.. I don't like how I had to ditch the crash bumper.. the budbilt retains it.. downside of that is that the pelfrey has much more space to work with since it's below the metal line running across

Over the weekend I replaced all my interior lights with LEDs, reverse lights with LED's, changed high beam lights to ZXE bulbs (super sick HID looking bulbs), changed my headlights to my Gs350 retrofitted ones and put HID bulbs in my fogs(not super happy with it but i had spare bulbs and ballasts so meh).

I really want to change my turn signal bulbs to LED's but it will require a resister to wire in at each bulb or a new flasher module but I dont think I can do a new flasher since I have auto headlights.

it was a toss-up between the two (Pelfreybuilt and Budbuilt). I do like the placement of the bud built through the center of the bumper vs the body chop, but there was something with the design I didn't feel comfortable with.

My wife is concerned with the crash bumper going missing also...

Yes, stock UCAs.

front wheel well is sitting at 38.5 inches, rear at 39.5 inches.

gained 4 inches in front and 3 inches in rear (with bigger 285 tires.) over stock

give the guys over a diode dynamics a call they have a led flasher module or resister wire available and they have a led white to amber flasher for the front they call it the switchback.
