What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

That's a great panel! Is there an advantage to going for this setup rather than switches in the available blank spots by the steering wheel?

It all depends on how many accessories you plan on running. I have 5 switches used right now and have a few other things I want to install so using this panel will allow me to install 8 accessories in addition to the 5 blank spots near the steering wheel.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have a more zoomed out view of the mount with a phone in it? What phone are you using? Would love to see it. I have the same mount but haven't installed yet and curious what it looks like. Also, what do you mean video is shaky in the mount? Does the mount itself bounce and vibrate around independently of the truck?

I'm going to do a write up of my install so there will be some pictures there. I will try to remember to tag you to link you to the page.

As for the shakiness it's just when I had the video rolling it seemed to shake on the roads. The mount itself doesn't visibly shake but the phone shakes. Maybe I just dont have it tightened enough.

I have an iPhone 7 with a small case so it comes with an adjustable holder that can be extended with loosening two screws and you can expand it or scale down.

Any info on how the awning mounts to the factory rack?

It's just temporarily mounted using one of the crossbar screws. Not recommended but I just wanted to see it on. I'm properly mounting it to the Gobi rack comes in tomorrow [emoji16]

Correct. The ARB Awning comes with hardware to mount to a bracket but does not come with a bracket. So you just have to figure out a way to mount that to your roof.

What are the dimensions of the openings in the mesh? Wondering if some straps and buckles I have will fit through.

They're right about 50mm squares. So roughly 1.75 inches length and width

OK - I did a lot of research and hope that I made the right decisions. Marlin and his team just sent me my new JBA UCA's to be installed with the BP-51 suspension that came from ToyTec. I am trying to set up a new Overlanding rig for trail use and mild crawling and will be installing these components this week. As both these items (UCA and BP-51) seem to be in the minority of items selected for our T4R's throughout this and other forums, I would be happy to answer questions and give feedback to anyone interested in how these components work to improve the ride and off-road abilities of an already great 4-wheel drive.

nice! i have JBA UCAs installed already with spacer lift.
but i also have BP-51 from toytec sitting in my garage waiting to get installed.

Lets see... got it exactly a week ago, 7/17/17 so far:

The day I got it (been stock piling parts)
Xenon depot HID lows
XD LED highs, license plate and back up bulbs
Yakima towers/cross bars
Put my Autohome tent up

Then....

Installed the outside stick type visors
RIGID SAE fogs in their housings (meh on the fitment, aiming, etc)
Put up my ARB awning

Then went surfing to find out I did not clear the rafters in my surf shack, ugh, fml.... guess I now have to build the mezzanine.

So went to the beach to air out the tent... what happens in the tent, stays in the tent.

I need a ladder...anyone have one for sale??

Oh ya, then a bird took shit on it. Its official, its a T(u)RD.

Next up? Tint and who knows... oh ya, got some rigid spot/driving LEDs that I'm procrastinating on installing that I cannibalized from another rig.
