I posted the link.., look up a few posts From all that looked at the thickness of this box is the same as the alu box. Like I said I have never seen a alu box up close but this feels pretty good for me. Enders does make another series box called the "Vancouver" series which looks identical to alubox

Installed Rock Lights

Got 6 of 8 pods installed and working great with BLEDIM app. Had to order two extension cables from the manufacturer because I was afraid to cut up the longer cables and reuse them for the long runs to the back bumper. Not bad for about $150 total. Time to rock the playa!

BP-51 and JBA UCA Suspension upgrades

OK - I did a lot of research and hope that I made the right decisions. Marlin and his team just sent me my new JBA UCA's to be installed with the BP-51 suspension that came from ToyTec. I am trying to set up a new Overlanding rig for trail use and mild crawling and will be installing these components this week. As both these items (UCA and BP-51) seem to be in the minority of items selected for our T4R's throughout this and other forums, I would be happy to answer questions and give feedback to anyone interested in how these components work to improve the ride and off-road abilities of an already great 4-wheel drive.

I had my OME BP-51 suspension installed along with new JBA UCA's on my 2016 Trail Premium T4R. The install, with breaks and the follow-up alignment, took about 8 hours. It was straight forward, though the instructions (still only FJ/Prada) were a little confusing at times for the brackets. The included sway bar and radiator relocations kits all fit with no issues. The kit did not come with a spanner wrench so I could not adjust the coil over preload and left it at 20mm. In the end, it worked out fine as the lift ended up about 3.75 in the rear and 3.25 in the front. You cannot visually see the rake, and the T4R looks level, so I was happy with the results. As for the Compression and Rebound settings, after talking with David at ToyTec, I set the front C at 2 and R at 5 and the rear was C at 2 and R at 4 as I used the OME 889 medium springs. His recommendation for a rig with mild weight (sliders and skids) was C at 1-4 and R at 4-8. I went on the lighter side, and the ride is good for a lifted vehicle. The ride is firm but not harsh. Gone is the body sway on turns and the hood bob when breaking. Bumps are felt but not as harsh on rough roads as pre-lift and handling is tighter and improved at highway speeds (75 mph as it is Colorado). The JBA UCA's work great with this lift and the alignment came in great after a few readjustments after the installation. There are a myriad of rear diff breather mod threads and posts, but I remember one that someone posted about four different Toyota P/N's of fittings that fit to replace the check valve on top of the rear differential.

Can any one remember this and shoot me a link to the picture?

I visited some sites I'd never seen before, as well as some old favorites. Also did a LOT of flying with my Mavic Pro drone -- I think I shot about two hours of video! I got back Tuesday evening, 2239 miles later.

Since last year's trip, I've added the MetalTech front bumper, RCI skids, and a lift (King shocks and springs). This was in addition to the sliders and rack I'd put on previously. Really made a difference! The front end clearance is SO much better now than when it was stock, the skids took a beating and held up fine, and the new suspension preformed well both on and off the road. Oh, and the 4Runner can really move! Several times I was cruising along at 90mph, sometimes faster, and the ride was incredibly smooth.

Wednesday I hosed off all the caked on mud and gravel, including the undercarriage, then took it in to the carwash.

Besides the videos, I also shot a lot of photos. Unfortunately it's going to take me a while to sort and edit everything and get it all posted to my website, so for now I don't have anything to post here yet. I'll put up at least a few pics as soon as I can
