Sell those running boards

Removing the running boards will give it a much better "lifted" look for the interim.

I dented both of mine in less than a month. I'd rather have had the cash.

Love my Ridge Grapplers. I plan on using my 4Runner as a winter rig, so the real test is still a few months out.

Did some more hanging on the Rago racks. High quality product that I can't recommend enough!

I put some duct tape on the back side of the tow hitch so it doesn't mess up the rack.

7+ years — can't complain

new liftgate struts installed. i stuffed my liftgate full of sound deadener years and years ago... honestly cannot believe the OE struts lasted this long. obviously, there's never a convenient time for this to happen, but man, that thing was HEAVY when they did finally bit the shed.

i went with Lift Supports Depot PM1052 which is sorta their "OEM+" unit, so to speak; a little more change than OE. i have slightly-less-than-ideal garage clearance and my tailgate rests on the door when it's up (had to install foam padding) so i didn't want the liftgate routinely smashing into it due to the extra charge of the Gobi/ladder-friendly struts.

Installed on board air. I realized that there was an empty space in my engine bay the same size as my smittybuilt compressor so I welded a tray and stuck an air hookup in my wheel well. Need to finish wiring my switch and I'm all set!

Days like this are always a little nerve-wracking....



Been spending the better part of 2 months compiling parts, only to drop everything off at my shop and wait while they get installed.



The tires/wheels/suspension I have no idea how it's going to come out, or how much modification will be required....I only can be so sure as I researched the hell out of everything.



Hope to have my truck back soon!! And hope it looks as good as I'm envisioning!

Why not do the work yourself?

I run the M/Ts but will be upgrading suspension and plan to pick up the R/Ts. What size did you go with, what size lift, any trimming? Truck looks great.
