What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Got my FJToyman King Shock Skids in today! The finish and paint on them is outstanding! These are nice and heavy and will do a great job! Monday they go on with the rest of the complete King / Total Chaos setup, I can't wait!

For the first year, I cheaped out and only used cardboard shims I made from the box it came in.
Recently I went all out and used duct tape. Black duct tape even!

Wrap with electrical tape or 100 mph duct tape. I also have seen people just put a lice of rubber material on one side. I also put a o-ring on my lock so it didn't rattle.

Removed a couple downed trees from a local stretch of the Emigrant Trail (note the 150 year-old rockwork) and found a previously unknown Martis campsite on the side of a Castle, with bedrock mortars, tools, and partial points. Also bounced a boulder off of my knee. Fricken karma.

Might have to visit my old stomping grounds and check this out, I'm from pollock pines

is that vinyl around the fog light inserts? Been looking to do something similar to this but was thinking plastic dip but I like the look of this.

Yup. I cut a strip of vinyl slightly wider than what I needed. Then using masking tape to lay out the pointly edges so I don't cut onto the existing vinyl underneath.

I really thought someone would like my drop in 5 speed. I had no idea how bulky the stock handle is, but I really noticed the difference with this. Feels good in my hand!

Finally for the suspension installed. Bilstein 6112/5160 @7th notch on both sides. Wheelers T13 in the rear. Sorry didn't take before after measurements. Luckily no KDSS lean. Ratchet straps are your best friend. KDSS is a pain.

I'll take better photos later. I'm exhausted!
