Having lived here almost my while life (I had a couple shorts stays elsewhere for school), I occasionally have those moments where I feel the itch for new scenery. Then I head into the mountains and all of that is forgotten. Montana is a beautiful place.

Make your own using cardboard or poster board as a template. It's just a bracket
Grounded to the stock fuse box ground, and then ran the hot to the interior fuse box. I thought about tapping into the lights, but I kind of like them on at all times. Used an add-a-fuse. Lights were $8 I think, add-a-fuse was $5. Cheap little mod.

Awesome. Yeah same kit I bought. I think im gonna do mine tomorrow. Did you zip-tie the light to the grille?
Exactly. It works perfect. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be strong enough, but it works fine and you can't even see the zip-ties.

Nice. You may want to double check your instructions on that ladder. I say that only because on my Tepui they recommend adjusting it from top down. Looks like a similar style of ladder and it could be dangerous to have it setup from bottom up like you've got there. That is, confirm whether the extra rungs of the ladder should be at the top or bottom.

Oh ya know...nothing that cool...just drove 170 miles through Colorado on mostly dirt with local T4R celebrities [MENTION=44305]weeeee[/MENTION] , [MENTION=56922]NoOneBetter[/MENTION] , [MENTION=77370]Gabex35[/MENTION] , [MENTION=107460]Magnetic4R[/MENTION]...and other non-5th gens. There were also three Tacos, a GX470.
These guys are on an awesome 9 day journey that included the eclipse viewing in Wyoming. They were nice enough to let me tag along for a day, while they traversed from their camp site west of Kremmling, CO to Leadville, CO...mostly on dirt. Today they will be headed to the trails above Ouray and Telluride, CO. Give them a wave if you see them around there.
Thanks again guys and safe travels! (just a few photos, because they will have a much larger photo dump later I'm sure). RIP to Tony's drone.

Amazon Clause arrived last night. He brought my spacer lift, and dog barrier. I tackled the lift project this morning.
Moderately easy project with the right tools. Finished the front in about 3 hours, and the rear took <1 hour. Windows tinted yesterday, and I de-badged the column, and dipped the front and rear. Making progress.

Only if you have a full tank of gas. I lived in Houston, during Alicia. No power in August in Texas makes for a miserable time. Be safe.

Weathertech cargo liner installed
Bug/rock hood deflector installed
Finally got around to programming the FM stations
Ordered neoprene seat covers for front and 2nd row seating

Guys...I am about 6'3" and have a thin frame...so both the Tacoma I traded in (2017 I bought in March) and this 4 Runner both have given me seat issues....though the T4R is much Roomier overall. Based on some advice from some folks on TW, I decided to hit up an upholstery shop...and here are the results.
First photo shows a good example of the rigid curve it has...so the idea was to build up the curvature and then to recover.
So far it has worked great and has improved comfort! $125.00 OTD from a little shop in Greenville, TX, but I reckon any shop could handle.

This is a pretty cool idea. I had a 2017 Tacoma and had to trade it due to the horrid seat.The 4Runner seat fits me better, likely due to the added amount of available adjustment over the Tacoma.
