more info on the dog barrier my 6 month old GSP has been driving me nuts lately with his wandering around the cab on drives

I wanted one that doesn't clamp against the headliner, I don't like the scars those leave. This one clamps on the rear headrest. I was afraid it wouldn't be strong enough, but its significantly stronger than I expected. $75 is pricier than I wanted, but it does its job well. My 100lb lab tried sticking his head through this morning, and it held fine.

Got my Pelfreybilt front bumper installed. Warn 10-s Plat winch and Baja LED's mounted, but wiring still in progress. Also did some serious trimming of my fender liners.

Lastly, the final pieces of my Icon lift arrived and got the "sniff of approval" from one of my pups, so off to the installer this coming Monday. Anyone looking for a complete TRD Pro suspension with less than 800 miles on it? Make me an offer...

Not trying to be a jerk, but why would you buy a TRD pro when you are just gonna rip the suspension out anyway? Could've gotten a TRD Off-road Premium and added the Icon Setup

Oh ya know...nothing that cool...just drove 170 miles through Colorado on mostly dirt with local T4R celebrities [MENTION=44305]weeeee[/MENTION] , [MENTION=56922]NoOneBetter[/MENTION] , [MENTION=77370]Gabex35[/MENTION] , [MENTION=107460]Magnetic4R[/MENTION]...and other non-5th gens. There were also three Tacos, a GX470.

These guys are on an awesome 9 day journey that included the eclipse viewing in Wyoming. They were nice enough to let me tag along for a day, while they traversed from their camp site west of Kremmling, CO to Leadville, CO...mostly on dirt. Today they will be headed to the trails above Ouray and Telluride, CO. Give them a wave if you see them around there.

Thanks again guys and safe travels! (just a few photos, because they will have a much larger photo dump later I'm sure). RIP to Tony's drone.

Not today, but yesterday... I was at the gas station and a guy came over to "ooh and ahh" over Megaweapon, and we had a nice chat. He's got a '99 Land Rover that's getting pretty old, so he's thinking of getting a 4Runner.

Got back from a baseball themed, 7 state, roughly 2400 mile, road trip in seven days with my son. It was epic...Then went on a 700 mile motorcycle trip. Good times. The 4 is such a great road trip vehicle.

Fueled it up 17 gallons (302 miles since the last time I topped it off a month ago). At this rate my next major service will be after I retire 15 years from now :rockon: You got to love it - working from home and use 4Runner just for pleasure weekend drive therefore not concerned about mpg or fuel price.

Couldn't find the one I wanted and got a good deal on this one. Hadn't 100% decided what I was going to do with it until I got it home and put a few miles on it. Been 7 yrs away from the 4x4 community and once I got back into another Toyota, bit by the "build bug" and decided to have some fun. That's about it...just having fun :bluejump:

Rest of the main build has been ordered - wheels/tires/sliders/roof rack/rear bumper/skids - just waiting for fabrication to be completed, and Magnuson to release the S/C

Baseball is the greatest game. I hope your sons continue to enjoy it for many years like mine has. My son now has a chance to make it his career. Cooperstown was a highlight of the trip for us and we want to go back. The whole town is about baseball. We loved it. Hopefully we can go again some day and if we do we want to spend a couple days there instead of only one. Definitely take your sons there when they get a little older. Or....they play a lot of little league tournaments there at the All-star village. Could be a great excuse to get them both there in the near future.

We stayed in Oneonta and it was a perfect split between Cooperstown and the Unadilla Motocross National. It was our first time to the state of New York. Not the city.....What a pretty state there is outside of that city.

The Dragon is fun and this is my second time to that area. This time there was a big police presence and they were handing out tickets on the dragon. I think it had something to do with the eclipse. There was also a teen missing in the area who was thankfully, later found.

Also on our way down the dragon (we did it both ways) we came across a guy who wrecked and they were trying to get his bike back on the road. Then we saw a tree that had a memorial around it. So maybe things have been getting crazy there and the police are trying to stop the insanity. The best road in that area is the Cherohala Skyway and the few that off shoot from it. Forty miles of just awesome motorcycle heaven road :biggrin2: It's my favorite.
