What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Thanks to the wonderful people on this forum I was able to replace the door lock actuator motor and save myself quite a bit of money. Bought a 4 pack of motors online for $24 so I'll be ready when the next door lock fails! $6 bucks per door and an hour of my time is just fine with me.

I had to do something similar on my 4th Gen (used) that lost the ability to use intermittent wipers. A little soldering and a $5 part, and I had the whole thing fixed. Congrats!

Oh and gave her some shades. Formula 1 Classic, 15% all the way around. Installed by Tint Pro in Newport Beach if you're local.

Front:
C59-302 Coil (2.5")
GS59-700 Strut
Rear:
C59-599 Coil (.75")
So far I like the set-up, I have only logged about 150 miles on the suspension thus far, and there has not been anytime off-road. I intend on starting a build thread that will go more in-depth. But my initial feelings are good. Great highway stability, less body roll, this was all prior to alignment (it is being aligned right now by the alignment god himself Dale, of Dave's Frame and Alignment - Huntington Beach, CA)

Ah yes, Misty, mid-travel monster. She was a good one! She towed a lot of broken trophy trucks haha. I do like to whore myself around the Toyota forums.
The dark side feels good, I feel more accepted at the grocery store, malls, soccer practice, ect. You know, mom-posse territory. I am seriously considering a rhinestone license plate frame, just to really fit in, and ruin dudes days when they pull up along side hoping for a "Milf". Lol. But seriously, so far after (2) Tundra's and (3) Taco's, this is the right vehicle for me. Tundra was too big, and I can't afford to buy anything that needs to be towed so that was out. Tacoma was awesome, just a little snug for a 6'2" guy. I got the new 4Runner without the sunroof for this reason, now I have 6"+ above my head. I'd hit my head on the Tacoma headliner all the time. and my 4 legged daughter (German Shepherd) is really comfortable in the back so that's another plus.

Awesome man. I was in the exact same boat (deciding on Tundra when I sold my taco) and chose the non-sunroof model also due to the headroom increase. We will have to get out on the trails soon!

Did you go straight through Dobinson's or through one of their retailers? If you don't mind me asking, how much dinero was put into the whole setup?
