Received my Gobi sunroof insert a couple months ago. Got around to attaching the Eezi Awn K9 Max Trax mounts to the insert. I did have to get some washers to ensure a positive and tight install of the mounts to the sunroof insert.

Just got the windows tinted this morning. 5% all the way around and a strip across the top of the front windshield. It's always the first thing I do within 24-48 hours of buying a new vehicle. I can't stand riding around in a fish bowl.

I bought a bunch of stuff from Front Runner. The Monsoon Bag, to store my two newly purchased Front Runner Expander Chairs, and ARB Annex, as well as some other miscellaneous. I will be glad to get some stuff out of the cabin that can exist in a weatherproof environment. I also purchased 2 Front Runner Flat Packs which will be secured on top of my Goose Gear drawer system using Front Runner Stratchits......basically my suitcase for clothes.

Thanks to the wonderful people on this forum I was able to replace the door lock actuator motor and save myself quite a bit of money. Bought a 4 pack of motors online for $24 so I'll be ready when the next door lock fails! $6 bucks per door and an hour of my time is just fine with me.

Storage/sleeping platform

Getting closer to the finished unit. Have posted pics before, here are a couple more. Unit is a bout 5 inches high. Offers plenty of storage and yet low enough when sleeping for great head room.

What is the best campsite there? Near the lake with a dog. Looks like you were in 545. Looks like a nice corner spot near the lake with lots of room.

You're good! Yeah 545 is nice because there's a lot of space, and a little more privacy. One downside is you're right by a chainlink fence. It's also uncovered, so it was hot over the weekend. There's a nice tree, but you don't get that shade until maybe 2:00 pm. I didn't get numbers, but there were some real nice spots covered by trees on both sides. I'd go with one of those next time i camp at Lake Hemet.
